@@onlineghost9813 Imo they were running the engine very hard sacrificing some reliability. As far along the Honda has come I still think Mercedes has the better overall engine. Its possible this year they were forced to run a bit more conservatively due to some change they made which was causing them reliability issues as seen by the many engine changes. Can't wait to see what this year brings :)

@@forced-induction yes, that last few races we saw the merc engine being superior my a big marging, left me think Honda certainly improved but they are still far from matching the Merc engine. Hopefully this last few development weeks they get to improve even more but i see Merc fixing their reliability issues as well, they will still be the dominant engine. That gives max additional stars on his carrer, being able to achieve this on a inferior engine.

@@deborg3749 the FIA ruled that they didn’t cheat. They had a broken clasp on the wing that caused the irregularity with the gap. The rule was enforced on them but it wasn’t due to them trying to gain an advantage. He overcame it all, placed well in the sprint, and won the race. Please take your ignorance (and your vulgarity) elsewhere.

wouldn't say 100 years mate, a driver like this comes along every decade or so. Before lewis there was Michael, then Senna, then Lauda, then Clark, then Fangio and now we have Max. Every decade there's an era-defining driver, and Lewis defined the 2010s, not the entire history of motorsport.
