Looking back, this game is what made LSU the greatest of all time. They never played another close game the rest of the year. They dominated the rest of their schedule with ease. This game gave LSU the confidence to know they were the greatest team ever.

Looking back now, this was the game of the season between the two best teams in the country. We were watching two legendary offenses and didn't know it until seeing the end result of the season. After LSU has won the championship and their defense has flexed its muscles against the other top teams, no other offense could match up like Alabama could. It's just a shame their defense couldn't match up, no doubt a result of injuries. The mistakes in the first half didn't help either. Either way, these were the two best teams; if both teams were at full strength though, the matchup would have been so much better. Congrats LSU

This was a really extraordinary win for LSU… Anytime you win in Tuscaloosa is great! But the way they did it was really extraordinary.

Alabama looked like they jumped the snap at least 3 times and weren't flagged. I am not a fan of either teams but those were on key plays (two 3rd downs and a 2pt conversion).

I could only imagine a healthy Alabama with Tua and Dylan Moses this year playing LSU in New Orleans for the Title. LSU had a special team. They beat Alabama and Clemson the 2 Superpowers in College Football. For this season the truth is we would never know truly who the better team was between LSU and Alabama. I think a healthy Tua and that balanced run game would have made a difference. It's so hard though. The 2 most stacked and beautiful ran offenses ever.
