Today, together with my parents, I want to cook krucheniki with prunes and walnuts, baked with roasted vegetables. It's quite simple: first roll the meat rolls stuffed with prunes and nuts, fry until golden brown. Then we will make a roast and lay out the prunes with prunes in the form together with the roast. Ingredients for a holiday meal
500 g pork (entrecote)
150 g of prunes
100 g of walnuts
2-3 tbsp. l. oil
to taste salt and pepper
For the sauce:
1 carrot
1 onion
1 sprig of rosemary
2 st. l. tomato paste
150 ml of water
2 st. l. oil
to taste salt and pepper
Step-by-step recipe for cooking meat rolls with prunes
Cut 500 g of pork entrecote into 6 pieces about 1 cm thick.
Lay the meat on a board, cover with cling film and beat with a meat hammer. Do this carefully so that the meat does not break. Add salt and pepper to the pork on both sides.
Chop 150 g of prunes and 100 g of walnuts.
Spread the filling on the pieces of meat and wrap in rolls.
Tie each roll with string so that it does not untwist during cooking.
Heat a frying pan with 2-3 tbsp. l. oil and fry the breadcrumbs until golden brown.
Peel carrots and onions for roasting. Grate the carrots and cut the onion into cubes.
Fry onions and carrots in a preheated pan with 2 tbsp. L. oil to the softness of onions. Add a little salt and pepper and 2 tbsp. l. tomato paste. Stir and pour in 150 ml of water. Stew until the water evaporates.
Put the breadcrumbs and roast in a baking dish. For flavor, add rosemary sprigs. Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated 180 degree oven.
