I'm looking at this way too seriously, but this actually does seem like an interesting modern take on Dracula where they try to learn his secrets and catch him by exploiting his behavioral patterns and tricks.

She had to abdicate the show when her husband died to uphold her royal duties, but the noble and ancient Van Hansing family stepped up and have been catching monsters, and our hearts, ever since.
