Yes, Mariah went through a lot of pain with her family, and growing up.... She's so deep, and loving, empathic, even if she seems like a diva... Her song "Petals" is just one example of her deep pain, her past etc... Beautiful song, I felt it.

Including being sued by her own sister because she felt she was neglected by the mum because more of the mum's energy and money went into ensure Mariah pursued her passion of singing. Well... sometimes a sibling is just gifted with their own talent. I am sure the sister had her own talent. One of which waiting for a sibling to become uber successful then suing for part of their riches.

Britney going on in the book about how supposedly tiny Paula Cole is blew me away. In her music videos she looked average weight and height, maybe even tall. Kylie Minogue is the tiny artist, and you can tell even in her videos. She's only 4'11" or 5 feet tall. Ariana Grande is another super tiny artist. But Paula Cole? I think Brit's memory is messing with her.

I rather hear their music rather than hear about how they brought out their representative (not authentic) selves to network and take pics. Music is beneficial and famous people meet all the time. Their meeting does nothing for most people compared to the music they put out.

I remember Cher and Mariah Carey were the first celebrities speaking publicly of what was goin on with Britney backstage back to 2019. I remember their tweets standing for her saying Enough is Enough. Then Rose Mcgowan and Courtney Cox join the movement just after while everybody/media were calling Britney fans, FreeBritney movement crazy or complotist! I will never forget. He don't red the best part when Britney was saying "Mariah Carey was the prize".

I can attest to Mariah's love that she shows towards fans of her. Back in the day I sister was in Atlanta with friends and found out Mariah was in town when they struck a Convo with a guy that turned out to be her driver. He actually told her and her friends what hotel she was staying at and they went to the penthouse and knocked on the door. Whoever answered the door fetched Mariah when they asked for her and she came to the door even though understandably she was caught off guard. She did ask them who told them where she was staying. But she obliged them with a brief exchange and sent them their way.

@@ShaunTuazon I'm actually a professional makeup artist and I can tell you that makeup can only do so much. It can't remove wrinkles and sagging skin. You might say "plastic surgery" but when you have facial cosmetic surgery it literally changes things about your face and the way it's structured. She doesn't seem to have any telltale signs of surgery on her face. Plus her skin around her neck, chest, and bosom show no signs of aging. Her skin still looks like that of someone decades younger. She's 54 and she looks 34.

Mariah is a goddess! No hate, but I personally think that perhaps at the time Christina and Justin were young and being a bit vindictive due to jealousy of Britney. She conquered the world and they were still struggling to fully establish themselves as artists. It feels like in a way they used her to bolster their own careers (more JT than Christina) which is pretty damn petty at the time given that they’re both talented in their own right. Just my opinion, with that said I’m so happy Britney finally got to speak her peace, she deserves to have her voice heard especially after everything she’s had to endure.

Christina never threw shade at Britney. She minded her business and did her own thing. They never had beef. It was just the public and industry pitting them against each other.

it was all jealousy. I used to be jealous of her too in the past. I love her and fully support her now and want to be there for her. but I remember like it was a thing to hound her. even her family and boyfriend were jealous of her and just wanted to take advantage of her.

@jinx1846 oh hell no!! That's not how it went. She dragged Britney one too many times, called Britney teeny-boppy thrash, got upset and made snide remarks about Britneys performance at the vmas when Britney's kiss with Madonna upstaged Christina's... she was like, it was my idea to kiss Madonna blah blah... Christina had such an unpleasant attitude in the early 2000s (ask Mariah Carey, Mary J Blige, Pink, Beyonce.. ) and all she had was beef ...now no one cares about her despite he talent coz she never became as big as Britney, Beyonce, Mariah or even Pink.

Mariah Carey and Britney Spears should have been open and honest about their struggles from the onset. Carey’s meltdown ultimately didn’t do that much damage to her career. In fact, it ultimately gave her more sympathy with the public because it was the first moment of real public vulnerability from her. As for Britney, she should have been more open and honest and taken time off from music.

A who's who of people in the business, whether it's Mariah, P!nk, Rihanna, Madonna, Nicki Minaj or well-known producers, all consistently have nothing but nice things to say about Britney. And of course it's been notable over the years because you come across a lot of folks within the industry that are truly horrible to others as a result of their ego.

Just because people may have nice things to say about Britney Spears doesn’t mean her music is that good. It was many of her songwriters and producers that made her have good music.
