Marina you’re probably never gonna read this but I just wanted to say that this song has had me in tears since last night and I know that women face so many troubles that they naturally have to go through on the daily but hearing your perspective on men having to be the “strong” one 100% of the time showing the most straight faced emotions possible and the detrimental toll it has on us was just so powerful to me, it feels incredibly personal and what you did with this song is absolutely beautiful, thank you so much! 😭💖

The part of when someone takes their life brought me back to someone that I didn't know I was going to love so dearly took his own life because depression won his war. I've learned that no pain is small, no pain is to be ignored, and no pain is to underestimated. The worse thing that happened was that he was alone and no one lifted the world from his shoulders for one minute for him to breathe and realize that life wasn't just suffering. It's beyond devastating when someone decides that the best decision to make is to run away from the pain because its shadow grows more and more until you no longer see the way forth and the more this issue gets put out there, the more lives can be saved. It's not just a person that gets saved, it's their whole world that keeps revolving because someone was there for them.

I just discovered this song while cross stitching and stopped what I was doing to listen to the lyrics. I know the song was not made for me, but I felt like it was if it makes any sense. I am that person who hides all my fears, anxiety, and tears and will not share them and will hide away... shut everything down just to not feel. But a friend of mine keeps expressing I need to quit doing this to myself. Man this song just touched my soul and is what I wish someone would tell me, and maybe when I am stressed and crying to tell me it's okay to cry, and that it's okay just to feel and I'm not weak. Masterpiece song right here.
