This is my favorite. It’s no-frills. There's no carefully constructed soothing music. Just the voice of the guide with clear directions.

One of the best, if not the best, body scan meditation I’ve come across. You guided the attention in a gentle and expert way. Loved every minute of it. Thank you so much!
Yh i dislike the chimes in these meditations. I always end up anticipating them

I've been doing this practice for 7 years. it's the only meditation that I've found really helps me be calm and collected

It was my first time doing it. Just found it. It was so pleasant to realize I'm smiling and feeling light and in peace with my body and mind. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety. This was a hope , a light in a dark tunnel. Feel really good. I'm still smiling:)

I love this, I bought the book years ago but cant find the CD anymore. This particular meditation is guaranteed to get me to sleep when I'm struggling and calms me when I'm anxious. The only problem s, recently there is an advert right in the middle of it which is really distracting. Is there any way you can put it at the beginning instead? Thank you so much for sharing this with us, I truly appreciate it

I feel like an important part of the body was left out...the butt. And I was kind of bummed he rushed right through the arms. Thank you for this practice as it helped me identify these places where I truly need it. I might not have realized how important my fingers were after they were not addressed. Appreciated.

Ok so my thoughts on this. My therapist recommended this to me to help me reach a point where I could "observe" my emotions and thoughts. So for example if I felt angry because someone screwed me over somehow I could simply watch how i feel and choose to keep watching and listening....to myself 🤔 or act on it. So I do it the first time and he gets you breathing with your fucking legs??? And I can actually feel it! Well sort of simulate the feeling. He said it would take about 10 days and then I should be able to achieve this state of observing my thoughts and emotions. I couldn't see how the hell breathing with my legs would help me do that but sure enough 4 days in and I'm starting to do it. Without even thinking to much about it tbh. Just a moment ago I could here someone walking down the hall to my room. I started to get annoyed because it usually means someone is coming to disturb me for something pointless. Then almost as soon as I felt annoyed I "thought", for want of a better word because it is different, "I'm annoyed" or "he's annoyed". I was sort of at peace with it and able to ignore it. I also get these sort of surging, pulsing rushes. It's a nice feeling, simular to the feeling of weightlessness when I dive into a pool or drive over a crest or down a hill at speed. I know some of you won't like that feeling but bare with me. So I'm laying there feeling these nice but weird surges. Then I realise....the feeling is EXACTLY the same as when I've taken MDMA (I took Crystal in drink). I was laying on the sofa bed at my uncles after we'd taken it during lockdown in Portugal (I live in the UK though) and I was feeling amazing just laying there. Now MDMA isn't what makes you feel good. It just cause you to dump a lot of or all of your serotonin, depending on how much you take or if you take a second dose (double rolling). So I suspect this medication is for me at least causing me to dump some serotonin. No idea why though and I'm not into all the spiritual nonsense and cosmic energy so spare me that. Just because we don't understand it yet doesnt mean you can speak your fairy tale explanation as fact. Things need to be researched and proven. I definitely feel better from doing this. The real proof of this is I am able to take much less of my hydrocortisone which I need to live as I have Addisons disease. It replaces cortisol a stress hormone that I can no longer produce. So lately my memory has been getting worse and worse. When checking in to see what new information there is about Addisons disease as I do yearly I find out about steroid dementia. Google it. Hydrocortisone is a steroid and the one they used in their studies. So I decided to have a go at reduceding my does by about half. In the past this would have caused me to become depressed and feel hopeless. Suicidal even. But not this time, not yet. I'm only 1 day into my new doseage but it seems I am just a lot less stressed now. On a side note this Teik guy is a joker. "Not thinking about the knees" gets me more each time 😂 Im ashamed to say it took me 4 times to get the bit about the pelvis "and the whole basin of the pelvis and the organs in this region" 😂
