Thank you so much Mr Jack Schaffer for coming on and sharing your experiences on this subject! I for one can appreciate everything that you talked about, because I am familiar with every single location that you spoke of. When I was a teenager, I had friends that owned a huge hunting club in Krotz Springs LA, and it was one of the first places I ever deer hunted in the early 80’s. I never had any personal experiences there, but looking back on it, the landscape is ideal for these creatures to thrive... You mentioned Tallulah, I hunted there. That’s where some of the biggest deer in Louisiana are, still to this day. You also mentioned Amite River and the Maurepas swamp. I’ve put in hundreds of hours there retrieving sinker cypress off the bottom of the water ways throughout the area... As a matter of fact, there is a guy from that area, who has written into Steve Isdahl’s channel “How to Hunt”, two or three times, just in the last 8-10 months, and he shares his encounters/interactions with these creatures that he’s been having out there, somewhere in the Maurepas area. Very close, very recent! From the time that I was born, until I was 12 years old, I lived in McNeil MS. This is fairly close to where Kerry had his encounter. And if I ever had an encounter with these creatures, I would have to say, that is where it would had been... I can recall strange, sounds, peculiar smells, and even uneasy feelings, back when I first started squirrel and rabbit hunting at the age of 9. Although I never saw anything out of the ordinary, the loud, and unidentifiable noises that I heard out there, I could never forget.., And looking back through all the years, and all the time that I spent in all these different places, gives me the creeps, now that I know what I know! Thanks again Jack, it was really awesome hearing from you! - Britt

My wife is a nurse, frequently would come home at midnight. Says when she gets out of the car it smells like skunk all the time. Could be a skunk. I also have something that woofs at me from the tree line out back. Always one woof only. Reacts to me when I go to the window. Thats not a skunk. Seen something in my peripheral vision out back. Moves to fast to get a good look. Lots of deer here. The deer come out of the tree line and lay down on my lawn and they watch the tree line. I just got woofed at while typing this. If I tell anyone I know, they would laugh and say I lost it. I go out to my jeep to go to work in the am, there’s 2 branch fragments , a fork in another fork, like a double V, laid out next to the car door. Could all be coincidence. But too many coincidences add up to something else. Thanks Jack, loved listenin to you, great show again Brad and Kerry. Good luck with that fly Kerry. Watch your back folks.

I spent a lot of time in the woods hunting , hiking , camping at remote fishing spots. My Uncles started me early in life I can't remember not being able to field dress a deer. By 7yrs old I was allowed to take my little single shot break open 410ga. shotgun rabbit or squirrel hunting. Gun safety was drilled in my cousins and my head so if you acted right you were allowed to solo in the woods. Never was I afraid to be out by myself are a cousin close to my age. At the age of 38 I had an experience with something I couldn't explain alone while deer hunting that was the end of my time in the woods. Very recently I have been making baby steps to get back but only short hikes on well known trails and I go heavily armed. Now I'm an old guy my health hasn't been good for a few years. I'll not hunt anymore but I've missed being out miles from anywhere hiking in to a fishing spot. I never believed or thought about anything like these people. I was raised to believe in what someone told you sincerely and not belittle what they said. I can recall my Uncles talking about boogers but I thought nothing of it. They wouldn't have let me spend so much time on family land alone hunting or just goofing off if they thought anything would hurt me out there.

@@MAGAMANPATRIOT I’m sure they wouldn’t. Probably thought like most people… I used to be one of those people… that these beings wouldn’t hurt you but no one can say 100% that they won’t. I think just like anyone or anything that they each have different personalities. Some are not harmful and some are. It seems like there is more and more encounters. My encounter has terrified me. I love to deer hunt so now I just have to figure out how I’m going to continue.

PJ Arkansas , man I pray you don't do like me and quit hunting. Try to get back out there ASAP just be careful and aware as I'm sure you are. I've often wondered if bear spray would keep one off me if I had time to use it. I've recently started taking very short hikes and I carry a pack that'll hold my folding stock AK and a pistol on each hip I also carry a big can of hornet spray you know the one's you can blast a nest high up the gable end of a house it's gotta go 30 feet or so..just another goofy idea I came up with to ready myself to ease my way back into the woods. Oh yeah that AK I carry four extra 30rd mags and enough to load all five again. Had a guy at a trailhead look at me like I was a nut and asked me about carrying all that firepower on a short hike. I didn't want to get into that conversation or I might not have hiked that day. I saddled up and moved on out I did say something to him about being careful as I walked away. Good Luck to you I hope you can go back hunting , to me it killed the biggest reason I hunted the peace and tranquility you can have alone or with a good dog deep in the woods where you have to butcher em in the woods and pack em out.

@@MAGAMANPATRIOT just going to let you know that I am a woman but I still love to deer hunt. I hunt with my husband but he is always in a different area. I have hunted a lot by myself. I won’t be hunting alone for a while if ever.

Another great show gentleman 👍 Kerry when u were talking about comments people write ,I'm that person who always tries my best to bring out the positive 1st in any situations ,then I'll say ' it could have been worse) like we all know that it could have been worse ,in any bad situation, but 1thing I flat out refuse to read and not put up with is ,rudeness and degrading ,u don't know what that person has been through, the trauma does not go away for some people, and my eyes can not erace whatever they have seen ..those are just a few things I say most of all ..be kind and treat others like u want to be treated ,have common courtesy, that has diminished over the years ,if u don't have anything nice to say ,then say nothing ...gossip, it bad too ,that's the way rumors start ,its better to not leave a comment at all I have PTSD and I can get set off fast ,for instance, last night on Mogs show ,one of our sweet friends had a traumatic event take place in her apartment, and it lit the flame for my PTSD so bad ,I was a trembling crying mess and I couldn't fall asleep, today I had to have my license renewed and my eyes get puffy ,from anything, crying is the worst I can't rub my eyes or I end up looking like an alien, I dab with a tissue ,long story short ,my eyes were a mess all puffy and under my eyes was all filled up and I looked terrifying the bags under my eyes fill up and it looks like they have fluid in the under part of my eyes its BAD! so the woman at the DMV let me keep my old picture on my new license, compassion !!! At it's best!!! Lol didn't expect I'd be putting that in my comment. But it fit right in good .. There is no set standard of behavior for human beings, especially when it comes to grief, stress, excitement, etc., etc. (I had a former EMT school me on that subject. So I incorporated into my day to day.) Not every one is like you, nor is everyone like me. Thank God. This community has to rally to each other. The MSM has no love for us. Researchers, please continue your work. It's so important to the rest of us. BF would have walk up on them and kick them in the ass for them to open their closed minds. The crew from "(not) Finding Bigfoot" hasn't moved the ball forward much with doubters when every sound in the woods is BF, but they give the other researchers with legitimate evidence no play. The content with you independent operators is far superior to corporate media. GOD BLESS and go get all the proof. The History Channel and that lot will be the last with the truth.

Your parting words were very well put Kerry. Some folks feed on negativity and I can't for the life of me figure that out. Why would anyone dispute what they no nothing about. I have one lifelong buddy more brother than friend if he told me his yard was full of little green men bothering his dogs. I would not question him I'd throw plenty of firepower in the truck and haul buggy to his house. I was taught early in life to be open minded about things I never experienced because sure enough it'll come back and bite your rump. I was raised to be honest and forthright and expect the same in return so if you're the type that never enters the arena don't try to shame the one's that do. Three years already by gosh the time do fly by don't it ? Congratulations I know you've worked hard along with Miss Linda and the whole family at Bigfoot Odyssey to spread the word about this. I hope with more awareness there will be less negativity but people need to know we aren't the biggest meanest baddest boy on the farm. I'm not saying these woods people are out to hurt us but everyone has a bad day and they're perfectly capable to shred us if they want to. Think back to how many times they were very close to us and yet experienced hunters looking watching for game never saw them. I used to look for parts of a deer like once I watched a cedar thicket for over an hour on a cold windy day finally I saw a deer blink his eyes then made out the rest of his body but no telling one of those people could've watched me the whole time. You're doing a great job buddy keep spreading the truth.

I was wondering if all the activity looking for Brian Laundrie would affect the areas where you are going to have your next expedition, Kerry?

When we were filming down there. Brian and Gabbie were parked right behind us in the camp ground. We called them the crazy yoga kids. I have them on camera by the white van. Kinda creepy to watch
