I have this phone since september 19 and hands down best phone I ever had. No 3.5 mm jack kinda bummed me out at the beginning but i solved that problem with samsung beans. After 2 years, it still feels like a brand new phone. Never had a software or hardware problem.

So I've been using this phone for at least 3 months. The processor feels good, the os feels as snapy as it should be, you can have as many apps and tabs opened as u want cuz those 8 gb of ram can handle almost anything, the camera is good, i personally dont feel the need of a headphone jack, there's plenty of good and cheap wireless headphones, the screen is really good, if you watch a lot of yt and movies, or read the news, this display has your back all the time and the fact that its all just screen makes it look even better. it is on the heavier and thicker side, but i dont mind it, i think it makes the phone feel more premium and sturdy.the baterry is not amazing, but its good, thanks to super fast charging you dont really have to worry about it. i use it without a screen protector and it has no scratches. i have to say that if you play too much with the camera it might have a little wiggle after some time, but it holds in there very well and it wont fall on its own. I think that this phone is the best budget choice for people who watch a lot of yt, netflix, read the news, scroll through instagram and dont care that much about the camera and other stuff. And for the price, i think its worth it.

If Samsung would've used this in their S21 Ultra as well, they would be wiping the floor with the Mi 11 Ultra. Imagine having the masterpiece of a rear camera pointed right at your face versus just having that viewfinder screen on the back.

Wow the screen looks absolutely gorgeous. As an S9 owner I'm used to gorgeous displays but this fully bezeless phone looks beautiful. I've always been anti notch/cut out and would rather have a phone with bezels like my S9, for example, rather than sacrificing screen estate. This mid range phone is clearly a tester for Samsung. If the feedback and sales are successful I have no doubt that they will roll out this design on their next flagships such as the S11 (If the tech for in display cameras ain't ready). I would definitely look into buying the S11 if that was the case. Also the video quality looks stunning in 1440p on my S9.

What I am most curious about is how the A80 phone CASES are going to work? I suppose there are 2 ways it could work. First, there could be rails on the side that allow the top of the case to rise while still being connected to the rest of the case, and then the rails would disappear back into the sides as the top descends. The other way would be for the case to have 2 seperate pieces. The problem with that is making sure the pieces are securely fastened to the phone. Of course there are other phones with pop up selfie cameras, so I am sure it must have been worked out already. It is very cool the way the camera modules flip around. I was a big fan of the convertible laptops that had screens that could turn over (or around) so that if you used it as a tablet, the back wasn't the keyboard. No one to my knowledge makes convertible laptops with that feature anymore, I suppose because it broke too easily. I understand the keyboard is deactivated in tablet mode, but I imagine it is pretty easy to damage keys like that.
