I hope that helps, it's really an odd thing that happened so please try to pause it at about the 14:52-14:53 mark. But why was he laying on the rocks away from the camera, then al of a sudden back holding it? You can see him laying on the rock. If you look straight back you see a white rock which looks like a huge skull. At 1456 you see him on the rock then watch, then at 1515 he got it.

Right. Rocks were cleared and if they weren't being used for anything were just piled up, often on top of a rock too big to be moved.

Frost heaving, ground freezes and pushed the rocks up because the soil melted on top first . When you farm rock picking never stops .

No they really are not like that...yes they can throw rocks or boulders if they really don't like you. But it is rare...they will give warnings like aggressive growls, or WOO-WOO. They just don't attack like that. The juveniles will toss acorns at a person from a tree. If they do, toss it back to them. They love & want to interact with humans. But it is never our choice. They choose who they want to interact with. They have chosen Kevin & his family to interact with. When they do this, it is an honor. I mean there are good SAS & bad SAS just like people. They are half human so they all have personalities. Kevin lives in a residential rural area with the exact same amount of acreage. Because these SAS live so close to civilization, they have learned to adapt & understand how we behave. Introducing yourself as you walk in, is showing them respect. Always show them respect & always respect the woods. They do not understand the concept of money because in their society, everything is shared. They were hibituating that land long before any settlers moved in. In their mind, it is their land. That is why it is important to learn to cohabit with them.
