I had the opportunity to buy a budget Naturehike 60L+5 Dyneema backpack. I want to do a short review for my subscribers that might be interested in purchasing a Dyneema backpack. It's not a frameless pack but has an aluminum frame as well as a back pad. I use the Zpacks Arc Haul that lets air flow between my back and pack and that works for me.

Nice review Sir.... I have the nylon version which is a touch lighter... yeh there are a view puzzlers with this bag... the limited sternum strap adjustment and the pockets going backwards are definitely two... the bottle pocket does take a 500ml (the small bottle) smart water bottle I’ve found and it is a little high up there but not too intrusive.... I do like the ability to strap stuff to the top ( wet tent for example ) but a couple of loops on the bottom would have been nice.... it’s actually a close copy of the ULA Ohm 2 .... but without the customization features of ULA ... Now I’ve had a chance to use mine a lot I might go back and do a longer term review of mine .... it certainly has a few foibles but if you can work with them / around them I still think it’s a heck of a buy for the budget conscious .... thanks for sharing ATB Dave Mc

I love this pack. I spent 10.00 on some bungee cord and added It to the back and sides. It made a major difference. I posted pictures on AliExpress. I dislike the water bottle holder as pointed out. It’s too small and not adjustable. I keep snacks or my Ham radio in it. Quality is amazing. Its not for short people. I’m 5’9” and it’s fine. I recommend this pack to all.

@@nidgegannon I’m 5’9 and 215lbs. I have not measured but would guess normal. My legs are short but upper body is standard. I probably have around 20-25lbs in it when I hike. I like how I can adjust it and I have to say it feels comfortable when walking. I have not tried loading it with 30 pounds plus though

It's not a mystery at all. Cheap ripoffs, with changes to save money without considering the consequences. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but they don't care as long as it reminds the buyer of the original to fool them into buying their crap. I've been disappointed every time I've bought something from AliExpress. Sometimes immediately that's delivery and sometimes after a few times use where it becomes obvious that the products aren't designed to last but to sell.

Nice review. I am hoping to get a zpac soon. Money is tight. Right now I am using a 20 year old stansport pack. weighs 2 lbs 8 oz which isnt bad for a "cheap" bag. About 45L i think. I made a mesh bag to hang on the outside to have more space, and I made a bottle holder for the strap too.

That issue that Mike has is the same issue I have with the pack I carried on CI. My Granite Gear back shoulder straps are just too long, I can't make them short enough so all the bag weight sits on my shoulders rather than riding on my hips. Good size hip pockets is a must for me. I don't think I would like them zipping from the opposite direction. But for the price, it looks like a good pack. Thanks for showing us this bag.

If you are average height with a torso in the 22” range it will be fine .... a 500 ml smart water bottle fits in the strap pocket ... the side pockets snd the stretchy back pocket fit a lot of stuff ... heck i had a chair in one side pocket last trip and it never budged ... if you can keep your pack weight down to around 28lb i think you’ll like it ....
