The funniest part about this comment is that these things you mention had nothing to do with tv or producing. Roast battle started out as a weekly show at the Comedy Store in LA, and these things were already part of the show. They exist because not all the battles are funny and they need punch ups.

@@alexanderrose1071 I was going to say the same thing. They have other side stuff that wasn't in this episode. It all comes from the show that has been going on for a lot longer than the tv series. They had the wave, they had some racist dude and all sorts of other schticks that probably didn't make it to television because of people being so soft and PC, brittle spirit, ect.

Do you even get comedy? This was perfect. Not to serious, keeps it unpredictable, and when the roasters do great it elevates their killer jokes. When the roasters bomb the WAVE keep us entertained.
