Thanks for the detailed instruction! For those who, like me, get an FAIL during the firmware: I had the 10 version EMUI and i spent a lot of time trying to downgrade my phone. It turned out that EMUI version 10 is needed for HiSuite version also 10 not 11 like in this video

For first timers: if You cannot install the GMS1 or GMS2 or GMS3, look very carefully at the video - You probably need to clear cache/force stop several google apps before you proceed. Thank You. I had fixed my Play Services a year ago, but it crashed a couple of weeks ago and I tried to Downgrade + Googlefy once more. Googlefier didn't work, but Your video did. Thanks a lot

@@yoel8459 After updates i have firmware 10.1.0.315(C10E1R5P1), emui ver. 10.1.0 FW from the box was 291, made a downgrade to 226 for gms installation. Hope you have already solved problem

@@ruslankazimov622 i don't use lot of apps with notifications. whatsapp notifications work well, as well as yandex mail. tried to play games a little. GTA:LCS works well, SW:KOTOR - too. DS4 gamepad via BT works well, tried to play GTA:LCS and PPSSPP emulator

@@PijamaWarrior666 Me too. I play mostly PPSSPP games or offline games with stylized graphics. The problem is I'm getting bombarded with "XXX application requires an action" type of notifications. I have to go to settings and disable different notification types. I can't launch google drive nor Play games... which often makes it impossible to register in games via them and also restore my backups. I only play games when I travel to work , launch break and sometimes weekends. So I don't have any desire to start over from beginning.

no way, wel i need help XD... When i click on the setup in hisuite Proxy, the hisuite app that should appear in the desktop doesnt pop up, do u have any ideas why XDDD i want to be able to have gms but i think i will just stop trying for nothing.

If the download of the version 10 does not start because of something like "no internet connection" try deactivating your anti-virus. I did it and it worked!

I upgraded to emui 11 and google play store showed me my phone wasn't google supported, if that shows up, clear all and force stop all google services/apps, than restart and download update

This tutorial was very helpful and worked for my P40 pro phone and my girlfriends P40 pro also. Remember to take out your carrier Sim outside the phone. I tried on my gf phone with the sims on and it didn't worked. I hard reseted the phone, took out the sim for the carrier and it worked just fine. Thank you for the tutorial dude! Cheers!

Thank you very much for your effort ! For anyone that had the same doubt, I had success with Huawei P40 5G ANA-N29 (not the Pro version). I first downgraded succesfully to firmware 131, followed the instructions which were a success and then upgraded from inside Android (not e-recovery) to firmware 154, to 182. After upgrade to emui 11 and minor security upgrades I started having issues, not sure why. I followed again the steps for installing the last 3 files and it worked like a charm. Only one issue for me: I cannot add another google account, I am getting a "There Was A Problem Communicating With Google Servers". Did a search and didn't find a solution online. At least I have my first two accounts intact and working as expected as well as all the applications I need.

Have you had success with getting the update? My HiSuite is stuck on checking for updates... And canceling doesn't help. Do you remember which CUST you downloaded?

@@justinascesna5625 sorry I do not recall the CUST, I followed the instructions and some intuition on what to download regarding this. Is there any chance you have other problems eg like internet or firewalls ? Suite never stuck for me.

Huawei has all alternatives to google, like Petal Maps, Petal Search, Petal Mail, Petal Vision, Celia Keyboard, MeeTime (Huawei's facecall app) Huawei Music with a streaming music services, Huawei Video with a streaming video services, Huawei Cloud include Huawei drive and your datas from your gallery, contacts and apps also, it saves your musics also. You can acces to your cloud on all huawei devices and for the pc you have to acces it on the website. The only google app you need, is UKposts. But there is a UKposts Alternative called UKposts Vanced, it's the same than UKposts Premium but it's free, you can download it from Vanced Manager website. You can see Tuto on youtube. 25&(8

So one week running GMS on P40 Pro. All working well no errors some notifications not working but not the end of the world! I would recommend to use the method in the video as googlefier didn't work as well so best to use the system hacks method. Hi :) I've finished installing Google Play Services Today. However you might need to use an older version of hisuite. Version 11 to get the hisuite app on your phone and version 10 to downgrade from EMUI 11 to 10. Version 10 of histuie kept uninstalling the version 11 of the app on the phone so I ended up using a version 10 of Hisuite that I found on the xda developpers forums. Thank you and thanks to them! :) I now hope that I can keep Google Play services running withut issues while upgrading EMUI.

@@SystemHacks it all works beautifully but it has one very huge drawback. I can't receive push notifications from my bank app and it doesn't allow me to make any transactions cse I can't get the authorization codes directly. Any way that can be remedied?

you my man really impressed me! i did a lot of research about this an nothing seemed to work for me but then i stumbled about your video and it worked from the beginning! really a big thank you for that i appreciate it a lot sir! the only question left behind for me is: i was on emui/firmware 11 and had to downgrade to 10.1.226 and was even able to upgrade through the phone manager after following your amazing instructions, but now it is on 10.1.323 and says this is the latest version, is this really right or am i missing something? cause it seems to good/easy to be true and so i naturally think i am missing something ^^ if anyone yould help out with this i would highly appreciate it...

Go to recovery and use e-recovery update and follow instructions 👍

If everything works you can update safely. Just don't factory reset your phone.

@@SystemHacks Thank you. Nice to know! I'm facing a problem right now where I cannot connect my phone to my Windows laptop. There is no message at all on the phone which should popup. Is this a thing? I tried of course different usb cabels, or different slots.
