I´ve been searching for a tiny wifi capable devboard with usb c, great to see the ESP32 QT Py being released! Maybe if even possible add a dedicated battery connector and circuit? that would be perfect

There is CircuitPython beta support for the ESP-C3-32S. I played with it yesterday. The only thing is that you don't get the CIRCUITPY drive (the native USB on the ESP-C3 is only USB Serial/JTAG), so you have to use ampy to load files/libraries.

I see the QT Py ESP32-S2 board "coming soon" on the website, get excited, forget about it for a week, and today I see that it's been in a new product video for a few days and has long been sold out. Definitely putting this one on e-mail notification.

wow it's as small as an esp01 and seems way easier to use and with more GPIO EDIT: sadly as an european it's hard to find right now (and i saw that it's already out of stock in USA)

If I want to give someone a piece of paper with which they can buy whatever they want, I give them fiat cash. It has the widest number of places you can shop, never runs out of date, and doesn't rely on any business remaining solvent. If giving a gift voucher gave the purchaser some benefit like a 10% discount, that would swing it for me, otherwise you are just giving a business money and restricting the place where the person you are giving a gift to can shop. What is the benefit to the consumer? There simply isn't any.

Because if you give cash, they might spend it on something mundane like food or gas instead of getting some cool toys for themselves.
