Come to Minnesota and watch hockey. Kids, high school, college, pro. We got it all. Minnesota is the state of hockey. My cousin coaches the University of Minnesota Duluth. The have only won 3 NCAA titles in the last 11 years. Most of any college. The state high school tourney for boys averages 15 to 20 thousand per game. There is no great team now in the NHL. No dynasties like decades ago. Anyone can get hot and win. Borbo was a hack in Columbus. Nice to see him win a game or two. Just like Korpisalo was a hack then played great for the Kings. Brodeur, Roy, Dryden, Sawchuk, just some of the greats I have watched win cups. Borbo….WHO’s HE? It was great with only 6 teams in the NHL. Even the worst team had hall of fame players. Just think of the quality of hockey there would be if there were only 16/teams. Every team would be loaded with talent….but greed wins out through expansion. Still had snow In my yard by Lake Superior 10 days ago..but the outdoor rinks have melted…ahhhh 3 months of summer before it snows again….

I'm seeing the same as well. Florida is better coached and they look like they want it more. Probably goes to 5 games. Leafs will get a split in Miami but lose at home in game 5. Short of Tim Horton's ghost showing up for a pre game speech, a miraculous comeback is very unlikely. Too bad, cuz this is the 30th anniversary of the last time the Stanley Cup was won in Canada. I suspect that tiny cochroach Bettman is behind it, but he's clever, so he's very adept at covering his heinous deeds. Wish he would retire.

This game was symbolic of both of these teams seasons. Toronto started strong and knew they could cruise to the playoffs without improvements. Florida on the other hand were in a hole and only came out of it because of their growth. Go Panthers

Turnovers and missed opportunities. Leafs need to manage the puck better and most importantly they need to score on some of their chances. Bob was amazing tonight. To me that was the main difference. Florida got spectacular goaltending and the Leafs didn't.

@@reynardus1359 Dude, you're on the money. The leaf's fanbase needs to stop hanging their hat on dumb excuses like "We got goalied" after games like these. Matthews and Tavares need to live up to their contracts. The depth needs to show up and the team needs to play better. Stop pinning failures on dumb throw away excuses and raise your expectations. The leafs scored 2 goals and didn't deserve to win. Bob played well, taking nothing away from him, but the blue team had their chances and blew it. God Boston is the team i loathe and also wish my team was, but their fanbase is solid AF. Blames the team, says they need to be better, no throw away excuses. Hold the team to championship level expectations and stop finding scapegoats.

The play at 5 mins is the definition of dumb hockey. Instead of trying to get the puck out of their own zone they try to make 2 extra passes and it cost them a goal.

Leafs go flat in the most important moments of the game. Started the second period like it was a Sunday night pick up. Panthers in 5 Florida is most dangerous when they’re down a goal. They have the magic that brings teams to a cup final. Canes Panthers will be a grinder

The Leafs problems are the same problems they have had since they drafted Matthews. They are too fancy and rely too much on skill. They should be angry. They should have a fight back in them. Look at that fight between Stamkos and Matthews. Stamkos jumped Matthews and Matthews put up no fight. Matthews is 2 inches taller and like 20 pounds heavier than Stamkos... No fight back... Nothing... I want some blood drawn... Matthews doesn't have it. He should have tried to gouge Stamkos's eyes out for jumping him, regardless of his reputation... He didn't. It looked like he did not even know how to fight... Or take a punch... Or throw a punch. Matthews should be angry. Draisaitl and MacKinnon have that anger you need in the playoffs.

The Panthers third goal was sick!! Ekblad, Bennett, Reinhart, Montour, etc Panthers have some great Canadian players! Hope they beat the Leafs so the Canadian media will stop being so enamoured with them momentarily at least. Go Panthers!!

I dont know if yall know this, but there is a trend throughout this playoffs of away teams winning. The leaf's haven't played bad in this series, so lets have some optimism. They can bounce back! I feel like because people associate themselves with their team, every time the leaf's lose, they take it personally and start having an aneurysm.

Not sure if it's purely just a coach issue. I mean look at that one goal where Matthews and Marner couldn't get the puck out their own zone. That's just some horrible mistakes by the players, not the coach.

@@Baleygrr yes, that was Florida's 3rd goal. A series of mistakes followed by 4 Leafs puck watching, a cross ice pass and its fired into the net. Samsonov wasn't that great either. I can't see the team mustering the will to win 4 of the remaining 5 games. I calculate their chances of winning at about 10% tops.

I was at this game as a Leafs fan... Florida looks so much better, looks like they have way more heart, our 8 figure players messing around at the blue line jesus christ... Florida's just a better hockey team it seems. I would want them to win it all if toronto loses which is pretty likely now, they looked so good at the start but always disappoint lol!
