Okay, it's been several weeks, and I'll say that the OLED screen is fantastic, as well as the kickstand. People who don't own a Switch or have the v1 Switch: if you plan to play handheld often, this model is worth it! Unless you're on a budget, in which case the Lite model is good as well.

I’ve had this for a year now. And it’s still great. Wide adjustable stand is so much better. I really am a fan of the white design. And is so much comfortable and fun to use.

Ok, Now that this has released, this version of the Switch is surprisingly good. I like it. It really shows that even the smallest changes make a big difference. Looking back at the Games, The Switch is starting to become a favourite of mine, now that I can use the Kickstand without it breaking off. Pros: Better Memory. Very Much appreciated, so big Thanks. There's just so many amazing Games I enjoy. I like the Slightly bigger Screen it makes Better a Local Multiplayer experience. Oled Screen. Punchier Colours and Better Contrast, better viewing angles and Overall image clarity, and is safer on the eyes. (I would appreciate if there was a Colour temperature slider in an update for all Switch models to relieve Eyestrain. It should be under the sub menu by holding the home button). Really good Kickstand. Yay! Slightly better sound, which still sounds great. Minor con: Potential Screen retention issues. (VERY RARE). This shouldn't be too much of a problem if the console is not played obsessively in handheld mode with the same Game with the same UI in place at high brightness levels. I think there should be a logo detection system in place to further reduce the risk of permanent Screen retention, and the brightness bar should indicate the high risk zone in red past the halfway point. Overall: Probably the best Console so far. The Joy-cons are my favourite Controllers for motion controlled games. (Only that I have really big hands). My recommendation is to make more of your games have the option to hide the UI to further prolong the lifespan.

My sister has had the older Switch for a few years now, I decided I wanted one as well so I could play with my friends. I bought it 2 days ago and man what an amazing screen. Played on TV like normal, played handheld which is amazing and it’s so clear and also the new kickstand is a nice feature. If you want to upgrade, it’s not really worth it because not much has changed. However, if you’re a newcomer like me then it’s definitely worth it if you can afford it!

At least they are keeping the “Drift” feature, I couldn’t live without it.

For the people saying that the OLED is worth buying if you don't have a switch yet, you're forgetting one thing.. pricing Your paying $350 U.S for just the console and no games, meaning your at least paying $400 U.S to get the console and ONE game Whereas you can easily get the MK8 Deluxe bundle on the original switch for $300 U.S Meaning for that exact $400 price point you can get a normal switch, MK8 Deluxe, 3 free months switch online, AND at the bare minimum 2 additional games (probably BOTW and Odyssey if you've never had a switch before) So until Nintendo starts bundling the OLED model with stuff (which even in 2022 I don't think they're going to do 😂) the normal switch is the better deal The initial pricing is very deceptive though

the wide adjustable kickstand is the highlight of the Nintendo switch OLED model. its a huge upgrade for the switch compared to the tiny kickstand that breaks 2 weeks into playtime.

I recently upgraded to the oled model, I absolutely love it. Everything is a huge improvement, HOWEVER, I can’t tell that much of a difference in audio from the old switch. I LOVE the bigger screen, and the bigger stand. I hated the old flimsy stand. And I love the white. And the glossy screen is gorgeous. BUT the seems on the screen is quite big around the screen, so dirt gets in there very easily, the only thing I can get it out with is a razor blade and that is risky. The old switch the seems we’re so small that this was never an issue. Honest review? 10/10. The flaws are so minimum compared to the things I love about it. Huge improvement. Oh and one more complaint I have, this is just personal tho, the back of the dock, I dislike how the cover to the wire ports just pops off, I much more preferred when the back just opened up with hinges. But like I said. My complaints are so minimal.

It feels so much better to own one in real life than see one in a trailer. The differences are actually quite massive in comparison then.
