Just want to let everyone know that the original writers/developers sold the rights to this game. So it has a completely different team on it compared to the first two. How that will make the game shape up we have yet to see. But it'll be interesting.

@@sera-chan8194 I'm pretty sure they said they were done with the series after LN2, they'd done what they wanted to and were ready to move on. Why not sell the rights to something they don't plan on using again? Good way to make some extra cash for their next project if they make one, or just a nice nest egg if they don't.

@@sera-chan8194Bandai Namco owns the Little Nightmares IP.. since Tarsier Studio acquired by Embracer.. meaning Embracer would have to either buy or license the rights to use it for any future games.. Embracer prefer Tarsier to make something new than take that path

The lack of any continuity whatsoever from the original series, is seems like the main theme in the trailer so far. Just the mere mechanical concept of the original series. So IDK what to think of it yet. I mean it surely will have good sales for the looks and everything, but IMO it'll be much better if they at least called it something else.

Wasn't expecting Supermassive Games to be the dev studio behind this, and considering they've worked on LittleBigPlanet in the past just like Tarsier did before Little Nightmares, they seem to be the perfect choice.

@@GardenVarietea While Media Molecule worked on the main games, DLC content were mainly outsourced to other partner studios including Tarsier and Supermassive. If you go to Tarsier's UKposts channel you can find some old behind the scene videos of them working on LBP. They also ported Rag Doll Kung Fu for the PS3.

They also made Until Dawn on PS4, the Dark Pictures trilogy for Bandai-Namco and The Quarry for 2K. I think it's safe to say they have a penchant for horror.

@@Darksider087 It was guaranteed for there to be a third game seeing as how Bandai bought the rights to Little Nightmares so they could make more games in that IP, but yes, the original writers wanted to make something other than LN, which is why they sold it.

Man, I'm so happy to see a 4th installment (5th if you include the comics) in the Little Nightmares franchise! Lets just hope the new people doing little nightmares doesn't mess it up. But hey, it looks incredible so far! I have no doubt that this game will be something different and amazing. I can't wait to play this game next year!

Supermassive Games has made Until Dawn, the Dark Pictures anthology, The Quarry and others, they have a penchant for horror. This game is in very capable hands, I have zero doubt they'll hit a home run here.

No flipping way. I got into little nightmares late but managed to play the first one before the second came out and loved both one and two and I’m so happy and excited there’s gonna now be a third 🥹❤️

Finally it’s about time they made a new little nightmares 3. I played the last two they were great. And we got new characters and monsters. can’t wait to see more of this. I wonder if six and mono is hanging around. let’s hope this time whoever these two are don’t end up killing each other.

This is amazing. I’ve only played the first one and my only two gripes with it are the horrendous loading screens and the sometimes frustrating 3D platforming element added to a 2D side scroller/platformer. Besides that the game is a masterpiece of storytelling without words. Pure art.

Wow! I was not expecting this. I dont actually play the little nightmare games but i LOVE watching people play them. Its odd but im more of a spectator to stuff like this just like with most fighting games. Anyway super excited to see the story for this one goes!

Little Nightmares 1 and 2 are masterpieces, and this will be also. 2024: Silksong and Little Nightmares 3 and DLCs for Tears of the Kingdom and year is perfect.

@@Kelp29 si, lo siento como una versión muy oscura de Alicia en el país de la maravillas, con su propia impronta que lo distingue y lo hace tan especial. El primer juego me dejó maravillado aunque con muchas preguntas sin respuestas y el final del segundo me dejó con la boca abierta! Me pregunto cómo encaja Six en esta nueva entrega, si es que ella sale.
