I feel like I’ve broken into a private prayer, like I shouldn’t be here but now it’s too late and my heart is here open to this song.

This has been one of my favourite songs for quite some time now and i just wanted to point out something beautiful i noticed: in the second verse when you sing „her mother, grandmother, great-grandmother too…“ it´s first just one, then too and finally three voices, as if the three women are singing together (possibly to comfort the elderly man). Its such a small detail in an already perfect song, but i think it just shows even more how carefully thought out your music is, and its just so special to me

This song makes me feel like I’m longing for something like a part of me is missing. I wish I could just run through one of those fields and scream from the top of my lungs until I have no breath left. Then I could tumble down a hill and forget my worries…

There are no words to describe the complex beauty that makes you who you are . I’m in awe .
