This is kind of my point. Politics, by its very nature, solicits positions that are wrong. People vote, for the most part, based on their ideologies. It is very hard to change these ideologies even if they are wrong. So either because the politicians believe something themselves or because they are cynically trying to get the votes of the people who do, they will take positions that are not backed up by fact or only look at facts that support their beliefs. This is not exclusive to one side of the isle. It is just much easier to see when it's on the side you don't agree with.

Exactly... I mean, Hillary denied that she was careless with classified materials even after the FBI director testified that she did. She also landed "under sniper fire" and a whole lot of other nonsense. It's not like Trump has a monopoly on creating his own reality.

He does have a monopoly on people BELIEVING his own reality. I know Hillary is a liar. But in my honest opinion, she's more likely to be a puppet for smarter people than Trump is, so I'm going to vote for her. I really would have preferred Bernie, but seeing as this country is too much of a mess for any kind of socialism, we instead have two awful choices.
