I listened to this song every night when I was around 18-19, studying in uni, chasing my dream girl and job, seemingly trying to conquer this whole world. Everything I was dreaming failed miserably but this song always reminds me of that my golden age, and gives me with bitter-sweet sentiments. Time flies but my 18 child always there in this song, smiling with happiness to me.

Robbie Williams look in this clip is quite clearly inspired on Francois Cevert who was a young and climbing French driver very close friend and teammate of Jackie Stewart in Tyrrell. Sadly, Cevert had a fatal crash whose reasons were never well verified during tests in Watkins Glen 1973. Stewart who was thinking to stop with races decided to quit soon after this crash because he was good friend of Cevert and considered him as a sort of his heir.
