Learn why people tend to reactively treat their weirdness as a dangerous liability. Perspectives will be shared on how weirdness is actually one’s greatest asset, serving as a bridge into one’s authenticity. How to take action on finding the courage to say YES! to weirdness will be presented so that more meaning and fulfillment can be encountered by reclaiming the asset of weirdness.

This is such a strange talk for me to listen to. I have Aspergers, so wierdness is easy. What is difficult is being able to grasp even what normalcy is for everyone else and how it works. Learning how to bridge that gap and meet people in the middle can be a real struggle. Part of that struggle is that the majority of people don't truly want to meet in the middle, they want you to be just like them.

Bravo 👏 “I think we are all very thirsty to experience ourselves.” We must overcome our fears of rejection and learn to truly accept ourselves to begin to experience who we really are. “It is my dogmatic belief that our weirdness always leads us to who we really actually are. You can be entirely yourself even if that involves certain "shifts" that might accompany certain atmospheres - I think that for the most part, being yourself is something that does not change depending on who you're around, but still to some extent, there are situations where "being yourself" would, to the best of your judgement, be _received_ on their end inaccurately such that a given shift "away" from how you might have typically responded yields a more highly accurate _reception_ on their end.
