You will need that special pad to go under the mattresses in the bunk beds.....mold is a major problem esp. with a washer.

I am so envious, your workmanship is amazing, your insight is unbelievable, I m in Australia. Unfortunately we do not have school busses like these, if we did I am sure your work would be copied no end. Thank you for your video's, I look forward to every one of them.

It is so amazing how putting walls and ceiling up makes it look so much bigger. When it was just insulation it looked so tight. Awesome job you two.

I know it’s a lot of work but it’s looking real good and I am really looking forward to seeing finished product! I would love to do something like that but not a big bus because I’m retired, and I don’t need anything that big!

@earlallen21152 роки тому
What kind of mattress are you going to have for the children's beds? I'd bet memory foam. It's unfortunate you couldn't widen the bus the way you lifted the roof, but then you'd probably have to wear a 'wide load' sign. Haha. The children didn't seem to have too much trouble climbing up to their bunks, and seemed to have enough room. Can't wait for the finished product.
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
Thanks a bunch for watching. The kids will have solid foam mattresses. They’re about 4” thick and provide plenty of support.
@stangiles20012 роки тому
Jude is already too big for his bunk, without mattress. Would rethink the triple bunk bed. Or Jude may be camping a lot.

Great job. I think a port hole in each bunk would look great and let in daylight. Just a question, how do you make the beds?
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
Wow that’s a really good idea. I wish I had thought about that. 🤔🤔🤔 I might have to do that at some point. Thank you!

What kind of lights are you using for the storage box up front? Do you have a link?
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
These 👉🏻 www.lowes.com/pd/Enbrighten-3-Pack-2-75-in-Plug-In-Puck-Light/1001312690
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
Also, they’re plug in lighting. They aren’t made as a “wired in” option BUT you can buy special boxes that you wire with regular electrical wires and plug the lights into that box essentially making the lights hardwired. I just didn’t film it. Sorry about that
@debdarroch42332 роки тому
I think you may want to put a dehumidifier by the kids bunks as they are pretty closed off. Their breathing creates moisture which in turn can create mold in the bunk cubicles. You've done an amazing job.
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
Good point! Thank you Deb!
@hklein56782 роки тому
@@lifeanywhere Yes, I also think there will be a mold problem. There should possibly be air holes in the floors for the matrices. And making the beds and cleaning the cabins is also very cumbersome. Sorry google translation.
@staciw49792 роки тому
Looking great y'all! We were wanting to know where you got ur bus registered as an RV? What is the insurance company you went through?
@lifeanywhere2 роки тому
Haven’t registered it yet. From what I’ve learned the bus needs to be completed first. We’ll cover that step when we get to that point though!

Why do so many youtubers put the camera so far into their face? It's very disconcerting to be watching a video full screen and then you get a talking face right up in your chili.
