I totally agree, this man is totally underrated by boxing fans of today, I haven't even heard of him before, I'm just here because of his coming match with Mike Tyson, I just wanted to search his videos and see how good he is, and behold 😱😱he's fucking good

“First I’d like to thank GOD for everything I was able to accomplish tonight... PENSACOLA IN THA HOUSE!!!” RJJ in every post fight ring interview. His on going interview feud with Larry Merchant was pure comedy. I remember one time Larry couldn’t or wouldn’t interview him post fight and he went on a rant asking questions to himself as if Larry was doing the interview. RJJ is my favorite boxer of all time but I admit I’m totally biased since I was born and raised in Pensacola, FL. I remember my mom and dad taking me to the airport in 88 the day RJJ flew in from getting robbed at the Olympics. We (the city) always supported him and he always supported us. Absolutely a stand up guy.

el lobo blanco ...the could have, the should have...yea, if only, but that aside, there is no best ever. The greatest? The best? It is all subjective, and I would never go there. Ask a panel of boxing historians who might be the “ best” and you'll get varying responses, as it should be.
@bustarogers99904 роки тому
@@mikeyfiftythree6237 i agree with what you're trying to say, but Roy is the best ever to HIM, so there's no subjection at all lol. His style is not a style that can last long, but this style is the purest and m oui st dynamic but can only be used by a young man.

The first thing that came in my brain... His style is like nassem hamed style, and yes would not last cause it depends on pure speed which will be lost when he gets older, so i think in the other hand the styles that depends on power shots and good defence lasts waaay more like G. Forman 🤔

This is EXACTLY what I've been saying... Roy Jones was like a glitch in reality... He was untouchable in his prime.. Did not possess the "classic" skill set other greats did before.. But he was like this superhuman athlete, gifted with speed, reflexes and power all packaged into one freak-boxer.. I know he doesn't have the greatest resume of all time.. But I would put my money on a prime Roy Jones Jr against any middleweight, super-midleweight and light heavyweight through history... Without a doubt...
