As a guy who grew up 25 miles from Tuscaloosa, and I'm wearing a Crimson sweater at this moment, this piece of advice is something my next-two favorite schools should listen closely to.... Over the years, both UF and LSU have had incredible talent come through their programs. Just incredible. And both universities are absolutely top-notch schools! BUT, with the exception of the years in which you both have won a national championship, which isn't many (compared to us), there has been ONE THING MISSING: D-I-S-C-I-P-L-I-N-E. Period. And each player on the field has to take that dead-serious. Sure, Saban recruits really well. But when it comes to game strategy and tactics, and especially with this revolving door of O.C's and D.C's we look clunky out there. And that's the best word for it--CLUNKY. And it really showed in our defensive secondary and O-line execution last year (and most of this year.) Saban's coaching crew is just above average. And for heaven's sake, Baton Rouge and Gainesville are more fun for a college student than Tuscaloosa! It is discipline, discipline, discipline. For 60-full-minutes. And, when we don't have 60-full-minutes of discipline, we get 6-picked, last second pick-play T.D's; crap like that. Now, we're probably gonna beat a disheartened UF team. And the LAST team I want to play in the playoffs is A&M--again. They are tough! They are disciplined. They know the price of winning, and are willing to pay that price. You Big Dummies! You beat UGA (another undisciplined team), and now we're going to have to fight for our lives. The only thing that will save us is the same thing that has continually given Alabama the edge in all 17 of our national championshipsn discipline: "doing your job, and don't look at the clock" (Saban); "the price of winning is high" (Bryant, Stallings); "be tougher than them" (Frank Thomas). End of line.....

@@ohiostin Florida’s offense is what kept them alive in every game they played outside of LSU, they never scored less than 31 points in a game all season. If the defense couldn’t keep teams like LSU, Arkansas, Ole Miss, etc. from scoring 30+, they deserve the blame they get.
