I love watching Sherpa he's so adorable & fluffy but thank u Jamie for giving those of us that don't live in the UK the most beautiful scenery I've seen & I've seen some beautiful places in the world. I lived 3 yrs in Hawaii as a kid & 4yrs in Okinawa Japan in my 30's but something about Great Britain that must make my DNA tingle with all it's beauty! Sherpa really seems like he enjoys his hydrotherapy. He really gets around so well. I think he really likes showing off to the therapist (who loads him up with lots of treats) and especially to you, Dad! 🐾❤️🐾 He really is a handsome boy, especially when he is freshly dry and fluffy.

Our Golden Retriever was 14 years old. Bless him. His vet advised us not to let him walk on paths with lots of small stones. That helped his osteoarthritis. I'm excited to see what water therapy can do for Sherpa. Love him ❤️

Our 10 year old LOVES her hydrotherapy as well. Valkyrie adores meeting new friends every time we go in (she doesn't know a stranger, much like Sherpa) and it has helped her gain some movement back after surgery a couple years ago. She even has pretty much identical exercises to do and it has been such a great experience for her. Glad to see him living his best life as always!

Sherpa will do anything for treats 🤣 but a least the exercise will help him as he a special boy. Shame he getting older but still fit for his age and loves his adventures.

Hydrotherapy is used for humans, too. Way, WAY back when, they had actual swimming pools in the Physical Therapy departments in hospitals, for hydrotherapy. My mother decided to become a physical therapist when she found out that the therapists were allowed to go swimming in the hydro pools after hours.

Wonderful! Sherp is just so *good* at taking his meds, doing his exercises once he knew what you wanted, going straight in the pool... He's a perfect dog. He may have a bit of muscle wasting in his hind legs but there's nothing wrong with his tail wagging muscles! He looks so happy throughout this video. He's such a joy 🤗 🥰

Find business that readies old furniture. Get a very stiff rectangle piece of human grade furniture foam the thickness you need. Prob talk them into donate a piece for Sherpa endorsement once. Then sew a removable cover upholstery grade fabric with zipper or Velcro. Give him the exercise step with nonslip. You could also get him a larger... dog size piece same thickness. Support his body for rest but also could used for his exercises. Our large 13yearold loves her extra stiff human grade foam bed. Human grade doesn't smell of formaldehyde (ant protein smell) so dogs seldom chew it up.

I used hydrotherapy and red light therapy in the mornings along with a massage to warm up her muscles; which also helped with her pain and strengthened her hind quarters. In addition, I used a 4 inch piece of foam (bought from the fabric store) that I used to work on her balance while she ate her meals. I also I elevated her food and water bowls.

The nice thing about Hydrotherapy, is that the more Sherpa does it, the better it will be for him. Especially as Hydrotherapy help's strengthen joints and muscle mass. Also I can relate to Sherpa, I'm not a morning person lol.
