there is nothing genuine or authentic here. His entire schtick fake personas. It's literally a guy, who's good at faking his emotional expressions, manipulating the audience. Sure, it's neat. Sure, it's entertaining. But nothing about it is authentic. He's literally just doing the EXACT same thing hundreds of thousands of other people are doing. He just got lucky enough to have enough eyes on him to create a growth cycle. (spoiler alert!!!!!) Once you have enough viewers, your viewer numbers are all but guaranteed to continue growing as long as you continue to make content. You can even rebrand the channel and post completely unrelated content. Still works. That's why there's such a booming account sales market.

But the problem is, that a lot of creators here on UKposts, who really have nice ideas and could bring fresh air into this webside, get pushed into oblivion, because their content isn't too mainstream or family friendly. How many real original creators with maybe a few hundred subs are swimming in this pond, where they can't get out and don't get the attention they deserve, because the algorhythm says it so? There are a lot of examples here, where they get purposefully pushed down from UKposts and a lot of "creators", who just copy the same thing over and over again gets millions of views, because it gets into everyones rcommended all of a sudden.

They simply cannot afford the time it takes to do what Joel is suggesting they "just do". He's basically just bragging about how he's got all the time in the world to do whatever he wants and throwing it in the face of everyone who doesn't have enough time or money to do ANYTHING but survive. It's incredibly insulting to everyone living paycheck to paycheck that wasn't as lucky or privileged as Joel is.

I miss back when you just set up a camera pointing at a screen and call it a let's play... Now you have 10 professional editors, a 30 minute reading of the raid:shadow legends script and... yeah, the quality is better but I can't help but prefer the idea that youtubers were just people doing what they loved rather than a commercial endeavor.

what if I told you that this video was created and edited to create these feelings in you? And what if it's all a hot load of nonsense that you cannot replicate without all the advantages he's been given? would you still believe you needed to see this vapid and uninspired, inspirational video? Who's to say. All I know is, I used to visit with a man who died last year after putting in 8-12 hours of body annihilating work a day for 47 straight years without a sick day. He was 62. Couldn't retire. Died on the toilet trying to get back to work. And no one sings his praises. No one awards him for all his hard work and sacrifice. No one even showed up for his funeral but me and the mortician. I think this might have been more along the lines of what you "needed to hear". And what everyone else, including Joel needs to get through their thick deluded heads. Luck is not work. Time is not effort. Winning is about creating losers. So get out there and stop taking all the advantages you have for granted and do something about the nightmare world we live in where pretend people living fake lives are adored for there authenticity and awarded for their existence.
