@@ryant2568 I haven't read the terms and conditions of his Election Fund donations page so you could be right that it clearly communicates his intention to keep 10% of their donation for his own purposes, or are you suggesting that an MSNBC news report is supposed to do that on his behalf, which, in fairness, it frequently does. I realise of course that he can use his income from Bible, sneaker and electronic picture-card sales for whatever he wants.

Why hasn’t any news media investigated and reported on the use of political donations to pay attorneys fees on personal criminal and civil litigation defense? Political campaign and PAC donations are tax deductible for the donor. The entity receiving the funds is a non-profit entity. If the non-profit campaign uses donations to pay a private person’s attorney’s fees that is not a legitimate non-profit use. The donations used to pay someone’s legal fees should not be tax deductible - for the donor (a tax deduction) and the recipient (it is income). Why do you keep just stating a generic unjustified conclusion that this is okay, permitted, and acceptable? It is NOT. Why has no governmental agency called this out? State non-profit laws may vary, but federal law does not. Please explain how Trump can use other people’s money to pay his own legal obligations and not report those funds as income! Please explain why people donating to a non-profit can take a tax deduction when the funds are used to pay a person’s personal liabilities! This is just not right!

for its own sake, i believe it would be in the RNC's best interest to filter out all its "MAGA-fied" members and have those register under MAGA as a totally separate party. as it stands, the present day RNC is a far, far cry from what i grew up observing as i became more and more politically aware starting from the '70s. just my $0.02.
