I'm glad to pay $60 for these three games on one system, and that system being the current gen system.

It’s a 35th anniversary collection. Not a remaster. Ur basically paying $20 per game which are all optimised, portable and has extra music. That’s pretty good for pricing since these games are usually sold higher than that in most cases

The only one I played was 64, but I played galaxy 2 and loved it. I am so freaking excited for this, and am buying physical copy day of release.

knowing Nintendo (ie lazy rush jobs for stuff like this) they won't have added the option to change the camera controls. Coming from experience... I loved sunshine as a kid but then I transitioned to first-person shooter camera systems without inversion. Sunshine on Gamecube has inverted camera controls and fludd aiming controls that cannot be changed in-game. If Nintendo hasn't added in the option to change these, the vast majority of people won't be able to play sunshine as they have spent the last 20ish years training their brain to use non-inverted controls (as every other game in the last 20 years has them as standard).

I don't know about Sunshine, but Mario 64 was built to run properly at 29.97 fps. If the FPS goes lower than that, the game speed slows down instead of just becoming choppy. If the framerate goes higher (which can only be done on PC), the game speed is faster instead of being smoother. This is how many games on the N64 worked due to how coding for hardware at the time worked. Nintendo would have to go through and rework a lot of Mario 64's code to actually allow it to run at a higher fps, and even then the higher framerate can also break other seemingly unrelated aspects of the game that also relied on the framerate being 29.97. An argument could be made that the PC fan port has been getting it to work, but that's the difference between enthusiast coders doing it for the community and Nintendo doing it for the money. I guess if Nintendo wanted to, they probably could have gotten it to work entirely, but at that point it might not be the same experience as it was on N64

@@calebb7012 assuming the game is properly designed for it. there're likely instances where certain objects and such are supposed to be hidden by the screen but would be revealed if you expose more of the viewspace. Or basically, yes you can literally make it widescreen easily, but would it affect the integrity of the original art design?
