Lloyd should have two swords while fighting. Sword locked Dragonborn?! No magic, or archery set, either the crossbow or just a bow and arrows? Haven't played any DMC games, only know of the character by Death Battle, but sword locking him? He has guns as well as the sword. Shante not being able to fight with her hair?! That's what's she's known for.

@@whitewolf3051 You do know they're only Mii Costumes right ? They're just skins for Miis. Mii Costumes don't come with an added gameplay, they're just customization for Mii Fighters, whose have their own moveset.

Your level of engagement in a fandom doesn’t determine how much of a fan you are. Fanartists depend on casuals who view their art, for instance. The masses are just as important as the creators. By hating fandoms, you’re also hating on people who have genuinely been helped by finding a sense of community by connecting with like-minded people. Fandoms don’t ruin things for you if you find the right people in said fandom to interact with. With bigger fandoms especially, it’s not hard. I get that negativity is stronger than positivity, but you’ve got to fight that internal conflict for your own good. It’s your fault that vocal minorities of weird fans are never recognized as such, and are instead chalked up to the whole group.

The fans that demand their characters have already been called out as fake fans by the production teams at Nintendo and Bandai Namco. I say let Sakurai do this because this is the last Smash Bros, it's already sold all the units it needs to. Sakurai could announce Mike Jones from Star Tropics as the last character and the real fans will be happy. The fans that didn't get Lloyd, Dante or Geno and say the series isn't the same, truly do not know what this series is about.

The Mii’s are different that’s why. Sans was basically a full on skin change/fighter because the model covered the whole Mii , while these Namco and Capcom Mii’s just look like Mii’s with costumes

Nah, Shantae is now nearly guaranteed to become a real fighter at this point. Mii characters do NOT deconfirm characters. Spirits do NOT deconfirm characters. Only assist trophies deconfirm characters at this point in time but Nintendo could easily pull a switcheroo at any moment.

Its a ratings thing Dante, VaultBoy, DragonBorn, Altair and Travis dont get their series named due to their games being M rated You get the series logo in other coutries tho

they could have gotten around that by saying"Devil May Cry is rated Mature by the ESRB" but apparently only Tekken gets that privilege. they did the same thing for Assassin's Creed, Fallout, No More Heroes, and Skyrim. Edit: rewatched it and both Tekken AND Shantae get that privilege cus they're rated T, which is funny cus I'm sure numerous T-rated games got Mii Costumes before these ones.

I really don't see the problem with a mii costume compared to a normal fighter. They are still in smash overall, bruv. I am a little confused on why there were no tekken miis other than Heihachi, that was weird.

Doesnt feel right that Bayonetta gets a slot and Dante doesnt. Historically without him she wouldnt exist. I know Nintendo felt emboldened to put her in because they helped make Bayo 2 happen but still. I woulda thought theyd have given it to him to help cross promote the DMC collection; or do the same for Ryu Hayabusa to help promote the Ninka Gaiden collection It was also weird Joker got in before a SMT rep; but I chalked that up to just capitalizing on Persona 5's popularity and a low key way to stick it to Sony who promoted that game. Same with putting Cloud & Sephiroth in. Sony spent 100 million back in the 90's to help market FF VII and yet neither character playable in their own Smash clone fighter. Sure Heihachi was in PSASBR but they also put a fake Dante in and no Snake (though Raiden was still cool) and no Ryu from SF either. So Im kinda getting the feeling the next slot will be a SMT rep but we dunno yet. Would make sense to help cross promote SMT V in the fall.

It's an improvement. But after Banjo & Kazooie were added, I knew _anyone_ could be added, and with Shantae being one of my top 5 on my wishlist for over a decade now, I got hopeful that she might finally make it. Shantae's Pack would have been my absolute favorite, with a Scuttle Town stage, lots of excellent music, a Spirit Board with characters like Mimic, Bolo, Sky, Rottytops, Risky Boots, Squid Baron, Ammo Baron, Plink, Vera, Zapple, and Harmony...not to mention maybe some Mii Costumes for Bolo, Sky, Rottytops, and Risky Boots...it would have been so awesome!
