Sakauri is such a great guy. He puts so much effort into his fighters, even if the character is one that will disappoint many, he still works his hardest to make the character the best it can be. Truly one of the best game developers and also just great person in existence.

Seriously, I was disappointed back in January, but I got Fire Emblem Three Houses during summer, and as of December 2020 I have 100% completed the game. It's seriously good.

Coming back on this makes me feel better. I was unfortunately one of those people that bitched about Byleth, and I cringe at those old memories. I actually took the time to play Byleth, and now she is my best character and #1 main, plus I have 200+ Hourse on Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I still feel bad for those who are still stuck in the past. May the goddess Sothis help them.

I have gone and finally played fire emblem 3 houses. I understand everything he was saying now, and byleth now has my attention. Not to those still salty, try it out.

I like when Sakurai is putting up the Byleth poster, drops it a little, and the people behind the camera laugh. I think it shows that Sakurai is a normal person that makes small slip ups like the rest of us.

It’s odd to come back to this video. Byleth is currently my main, and one of the reasons that I finally choose to get into smash again. In fact, it is due to the hating of the character that I choose them as a main. Fun to come back and read the comments.

With the news the wave 2 fighters were decided at this point and what Sakurai implied during the final presentation, it makes more sense in hindsight why the 11th Pack is revealed semi-dramatically after packs 6-10- probably a personal reminder for the team that they successfully got Sora from Disney. I also bet had they not succeeded, it would have been just the 5 extra fighters with Sephiroth ending it.

I love how even though Dante and sora have swords when byleth was announced they were like " ANOTHER SWORD FIGHTER ". And the funny part is byleths move set isn't all sword attacks.

Honestly, I don't think that Byleth's reveal is THAT bad. I just think that the timing of when they were revealed threw them off. If they were the first character in fighters pass 2, then it wouldn't get as much hate as it does. People were probably expecting some crazy fighter to finish off the first fighters pass, like Crash bandicoot or Doom guy
