The Phantom X is Tecno's first premium built smartphone by virtue of its design and build quality. It has a curved AMOLED display which is common only to the Ultra models of Samsung's flagships. The Tecno Phantom X is a midrange priced device, priced at ₦228,000 / $460, sporting the Mediatek Helio G95 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage amongst other interesting specifications. Using this device for about a month, this is a full review to help you decide whether or not the Tecno Phantom X is worth buying.

If buying a phone was based on only having a curved screen maybe this phone would be appealing enough but it's much more than that. This phone is overpriced and the biggest let down is its processor. Great review though you didn't say whether it was worth the asking price.

For half price I got Redmi note 10 pro and it offered me a better processor, better camera experience, bigger battery, faster refresh rate, stereo speakers, noise cancelling mic, all in a similar Gorilla Glass 5 front and back. The point here is that I believe Tecno really needs to think more about its pricing to be able to handle the competition.

It is never worth the price. The Poco F3 is way better with a flagship chipset, better camera performance and optimized UI.

Lovely phone but too expensive as compared to phones of the same range. For instance, the redmi note 10 pro max is far better when it comes to design display speed storage/type and everything. But the remi note 10 pro max is far cheaper than phantom X.

The Tecno Phantom X is overrated, overpriced and overmarketed. . It's not a "bad" device to say the least, but at ₦228k, it's not worth it at all. . If you're planning to buy this phone at that price, don't. You can get better deals at even cheaper rates. . If you've got ₦228k to spend on a phone, go for a Xiaomi product, Oppo or Vivo. Then thank me later.
