Rutherford Co, TN is the egocentric center of TN. I lived there 12 years when I went to MTSU from 1974 to 1984 leaving in 1986. Murfreesboro was the first capitol of TN. There were times when I had an uneasy feeling that there was a presence that was not friendly. One night I came home and was greeted by my wife as I walked through the door holding down on me with my .243. Something had been stalking the trailer we lived in at the time. I never saw anything or anyone, but I always believed it was a sasquatch. I'm glad to know this story, because it gives me an idea that I wasn't crazy.

Being from the country all of my life I know everything that is out in the woods. I’ve hunted in many areas. I’ve never seen a Squach hunting however as I gotten older I would sit outside of my house around the times of 11 pm to 4 am. That’s when I noticed them. I’ve been screamed at twice and seen several of them. They exist.

my grandfather was born in ne tenn near newport and kingsport. he used to always tell us to stay out of the deep woods after dark or ol' red eye would get us. interesting that several people reported red eyes. maybe he knew something about the creature

Im born and raised in Davidson Co Nashville and rutherford is southeast of there I just moved here about 9 months ago its a huge county really and I am ready to go exploring for the big ape man I would do it carefully and cautiously so many people don't respect these things or any animal and that's the problem WE ARE NOT ALONE !! Bottom line !! And this creature or some variation of this creature is literally all over the Globe how can people still second guess !? One argument that should prove they exist is that ancient Indians have telling of them what possible reason would they lie the ancient people wouldn't have the notion to lie they would be on the other hand worried to mention it in their accounts!
