Hi Kevin , I don't know what you have got out there but I clearly saw three sets of eyeshine and heard heavy slow bipedal footsteps. I think you might need a dog for a early warning system and a farmer's wide beam high voltage torch for better night vision. I wouldn't be going outside at all after that. I would suggest moving your live stock much closer to home. I don't think they were after you but the chickens and rabbits as an easy meal in cold weather or bearing in mind their tracks seem to be in very close proximity to the the deer tracks that they were after the deer on your property.

I'd love to tell you something that I encountered a few years ago here in Australia, out bush in a small Queensland town. The town is well known for sightings of Yowie or Bunyip or Sasquatch as they're called. They have been said to be an indigenous alien living in caves etc. As I had actually seen what I believe to be a Yowie, he was between 8 feet and taller. Very fast on their feet and can jump and climb trees very fast. Believe me or not but what you feel when being watched by them is a genuine feeling and a fearful one. They won't hurt you. Talk to them. They can communicate with you. Oh and they can see clear in the dark.. They've frightened a lot of people throughout the years.

I was camping on a mt in the woods, it was almost dark, I had a long day and I was drifting off to sleep when I heard single foot steps crunching on pine needles coming up the side of my conversion van. I sleep with my nose inches from an open window on the drivers side, thought if I looked out my window I would see somebody looking in the window at me nose to nose. I was sacred, so I did the classic, bury your head under the pollow thing. The foot steps passed my side window and came to the drivers door, stopped for several seconds, then came back down alongside my van, right back to my open window. I told myself, that if I ever want to go camping again, I HAD TO SEE WHAT WAS OUT THERE! SOoo, as the crunchy single footsteps came by my window, I took a deep breath and threw off my pillow and looked out just in time to see a 150 lb juvenile black bear walking slowly down the side of my van. Oh, God I was so relieved, I would have sworn under oath in court that a PERSON was walking around my van. But it was just a young black bear checking me out! The bear sniffed all around my camp (I keep my cooler in my van at nite) then it slowly walked away down bear trail just as it got dark. Now to my point, the crunchy footsteps in this video sounded EXACTLY like that bear. Adult bears do not hang out together! But a sow will keep her cub or cubs with her for over a year. I surmise that the guy had a sow and 2 cubs hanging around his place snooping around. But, my second point, once a sow smells a person they growl at the cubs and they run away asap! Now mt lions on the other hand will circle and attack! And for the record, I do believe in big foot, (tho I have never seen it) but in my 15 years of LIVING IN THE WOODS in my van (i was homeless) I have seen numerous UFOS and an energy orb, But, thank God, no close encounters. THAT would have driven me back to civilization! This is longest comment I have ever posted! Shalom

Yeah, my Dad talked about wood often. It really has to be dry before you burn it. As i remember that he called that new wood as "green wood" (bois vert), meaning it was too new and not dryed up enough to be burned. I would NOT be going after it in the dark! You should watch David Paulides "Missing 411" videos and his movies. People go missing a lot out by themself in the forest, by boulders and water. Maybe you could invest in a thermal imaging camera? There was definitely eyeshine and slow, deliberate stealth movement, thermal imaging equipment might help you to get a better idea of their numbers and rough locations

look to the left and behind the big rock at 18 or 19 sec's in the video when he's saying eyeshine and you'll see at least 2 or 3 more, At one time I didn't believe in them until me and my wife was walking through the woods one day and came across one drinking out of the creek and when it stood up I liked to shit !!! wife had seen it 2 times before and I believed her but seeing with my own eyes took all four away, it was about 90 degrees that day so no one would be in any kind of Bigfoot outfit !!! to this day I'll never go in the woods at night again even with a rifle ... we live in N.C.

What is that, a ThruNite TN12 flashlight? Those babies can put a good amount of light about 100 yds out like yours, albeit I think the adjustable focus on the TN12 would've had them lit the hell up from the distance where you were running back to the house and saw 3 sets of eyes in your field. Edit: Never mind, I just saw the flashlight.
