I majored in psychology in college with a focus on chemical abuse. I absolutely couldn't stand the approach being taught which was, "It's not your fault." I switched majors because I felt the psych community was taking the easy way out. It is much easier to blame a 3rd party most likely not present in session than it is to tell a client they are wrong or they made a bad decision. Which way will keep them coming back and paying you money??? No one likes being told they're wrong. Blame it on someone else, that won't offend the client/patient, so they return. I couldn't be a licensed counselor and not go Dr. Laura. Knowing this I still ended up with Yeahbutts. It was pretty bad when I got together with my husband. Loving correction is an amazing aid to personal growth.❤️

I can only think of one relationship I ended with a friend and I don't regret it. The personal relationships I ended Im thankful for. Im a confident person and I couldn't care less about what anybody thinks about me. I will stand alone if I know I'm right about something even if it goes against the grain.
