Today I decided to test weird period products I bought online from Amazon! I found an artice about weird alternative period products to replace tampons and pads such as menstrual cups, period pants, and SEA SPONGES?!

I own a pair of the "period panties" they are meant to catch any blood that rolls back and it allows you to move around more confidently while going through your cycle .. they also have the perfect shape to hold your pad without the pad hanging off the sides of your panties ... they're great give them a try

Those pants are probably for when you go to bed, just that extra protection incase you leak in your sleep. It might help from getting all over your sheets or pajamas

A bit but, I use diva cup. Granted that does have a bit of a thing to pull from and it's washable and reusable which is nice. Washable by the sick that is.

When I was still having periods, I couldn't use tampons but cups and period undies were a life saver for me. Endo and adeno made all the other options awful. The chemicals in the pads and tampons made things worse RE pain and bleeding.

Disposal of tampons: Take it out, wrap the entire thing in a few layers of toilet paper, dispose of toilet paper rolled tampon in trash bin, replace tampon (if necessary), finish ya busines, wash hands, ta da! :) Just Incase there are any younger girls or women thinking of switching to tampons who wanted to know

Brooke C When you first start using tampons, this is going to sound weird, but the easiest way to put it in if you’re not used to it, is while you’re standing up, it’s how you get the placement right. After a while you’ll get used to where it should be and you can do it sitting.

Elizabeth Butterscotch no more awkward than using reusable diapers (nappy). I put them into zip seal bags until we got home and then dumped the diapers into the pail of gentle detergent and water until I collected enough to wash. The same thing works for reusable pads. Soaking them until wash day prevents stains. For dirty diapers, I would plop the poo into the toilet before putting the diaper into the zip seal bag. These zip seal bags are reusable and washable too.

When I first started dating my now fiancé I was still using tampons and my fiancé, being a cis man that lived alone, didn’t have a bin in any of the bathrooms and I freaked out the first time I had to dispose of one there. I had to explain to him why you need a bin in your bathroom and asked if any of his female friends had darted to the kitchen bin after using the bathroom 😂

The thing is leaking is normal, but if you're always scared to leak you may not be using the right size pad, tampon, or you're not taking them out in time..

I have period pants, and they work really well. My advice is to get overnight ones (because they have a lot more padding in them) and they have a 5 in a 100 % chance of leaking. (I hope that made sense) Edit: and the pants i have dont need any other period product to be used with them! 🤗😄

They make some underwear for people with very heavy flows that work amazing without anything else, but they are a little thicker. They don't leave you sticky or wet feeling either.

If you have a really heavy period those “pants” provide a lot of extra security. I have heavy periods and have to wear tan colored pants as my uniform so I would love a pair!

Menstrual discs are my favorite. Same concept as cups but I find them easier and more comfortable to use. Also, the sea sponge is horrifying.

For me and my friends and family here in sweden, we always throw away our pads and tampons in the bin that's in the bathroom. We always wrap toilet paper around it so it won't be messy 😊😊 love your content and how funny you are ! A big fan 😊

Going in for a TMI comment- with those underwear, being leak proof after I had my last kid, I had to wear super absorbent pad and tampon and I would still leak onto my underwear. So those would be a life saver, to not get period blood on your pants, and save the risk. I got the arm implant, and now I don't have periods anymore.

Even with a tampon I often overflow onto my underwear and through my pants. So I think the period pants are for people like me to prevent this overflow. They’d actually be very useful!

Like u, once I tried menstrual cups, I've never been back. I would roll used tampons in several layers of tp before disposing. Also found these mini plastic bags for sanitary products, that are black and prevent odour when tied shut. However, environment, $, and period management have made cups and cloth pads, the clear winners for me.

When I’m on my period I always carry extra pads, a packet of tissues in case somewhere doesn’t have toilet tissues and nappy bags. So I can dispose the pad discreetly, inside the wrapper of the new pad, tissue around it and then nappy bag knotted. If somewhere has no bin as well then it’s not icky to carry in your bag/pocket too. Hope this helps anyone.

First of all I love you never were told you had to us a tampon that was the most painful part of my period but I loved getting my cup!!! Just started using “flex” and I absolutely love them... they are almost like the cup just smaller less intimidating and take up way less inside... super easy removal... I sound like a commercial lol but totally worth it... I think it was $12 for the 1st 8 pieces... they are disposable and can wear for 12 hour at a time... but honestly I would empty every 12 then change it every day but still had 4 cups left after 1st week using... amazing

I’ve got WUKA period pants and they’re great!! The only downside is that as they are bigger pants you can see them through leggings but they’re perfect for jeans! And a total lifesaver for a no bin situation - no need for disposal :)

The underwear are for if you accidentally leak, so if you have a pad on and heavy bleed onto your pants they won’t leak onto your jeans or whatever 😂

Yh I have used the pants! They are great because I am quite heavy. It prevents any leakage if you wear a pad I have not had to worry since these marvellous things I love them 100% RECOMMENDED!!!! Ps. They are really comfortable!

They were. They are harvested and dried out (basically killed by dehydration) then processed into what you see. The process has several steps. There is a lot of soaking and drying. I’m sure you don’t care about the details. LoL. But if you were to see on in the ocean, it doesn’t quite look like the final product.

OMG - you are doing a very good work, on topic of periods. Yes - I do sound like a grandmother - yep my age is up there. However - the period pants, is great. I will be trying them and truly think people that are heavy and lots of clots would love them. I also wish i know about the cups - omg - wish i know about them. All that money I could have saved and think about the environment. You have a good idea - about the cover for your fingers - maybe you need to talk to the cup makers and see if they can do a flap for the fingers, or something like that with a little part to stop the blood running off the flaps.. You never know their maybe some good ideas out there. I will add - i love your wish products - i love the way you are so into your job. Thank you for for all the laughs.
