Yet, he maintained his sense of humor and made some truly memorable films like The Producers, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein. When asked why he kept making fun of Nazis, Brooks responded that is was to rob the Third Reich of its powerful influence and help bring joy to people. Sometimes, when someone makes a joke about a sensitive topic, it isn't because they're unsympathetic or heartless but to relieve their own stress and to bring up morale in those around them. We here in the West have really forgotten that and so we'll piss and moan any time someone rags on topics like war and violence, even if it's clearly meant to be a joke or to bring up an observation. Laughter is truly a powerful tool and we should always remember that.

My grandma died this Saturday from cancer. While she was still breathing(hours before) and my mom and i where going home not knowing that this day would be our last, i still cracked a stupid joke about the doors of the hospital. You know what? When my mom came back from the hospital after her death, one of the first thing she laughed about was my joke about those stupid doors. Laugh heals people.

I would say “forget them, who cares. We’ve got problems back home.” But something tells me that U.S federal government has other plans for us and our tax dollars.

Nothing has chilled me more than to see Razorfist in a very serious moment. I share his concerns.

My SSgt told me this once, he'd done 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan. Laughter is truly the best medicine, because it's for your soul. If we can't laugh, or worse refuse to laugh, it means the enemy has defeated us in our hearts, which is the only victory they need. Godspeed Razor.

I have a close friend, he was in Law Enforcement for decades until he retired. The talk where he worked is that Mike Pence is a member of the Pizza crew and loves young children, like Elementary School age. Obviously there's no proof, that's just the talk going around. Pence sure did a 180 real quick in 2020, and continues to stab President Trump in the back. Blackmail can be a powerful motivator.
