Maybe it's just me, but I think the song Hell's Coming With Me, from Poor Man's Poison, would be the perfect intro for the Ghost of the Badlands.

This combat is rough at least, I really hope KCD: 2 polishes it up.

Judas Priest are Spinal Tap plus paedophilia and bipolar disorder. They are so hilarious, a book could be written. It's rather amazing they have a following, but so do L.Ron Hubbard and Xenu. Halford's "Confess" is mostly about lavatory adventures, some involving teenage fanatics - at least he's vocal about it. Tipton is the real, covert narcissist. I trolled him by sending him "love letters". The songs "Trial by fire" and "Vicious circle" are probably about that "experience" of his. (What the heck is "I tried to make you mine, but you crossed the line"?!) Some fanatics write about Tipton online; here's one: "Glenn, I met you when I was thirteen. I had really low self-esteem. But you looked into my eyes, gave me a pick and held it in my hand. I said I loved you and you said, 'I love you too. You are so charismatic!' I haven't stopped thinking of you ever since." Btw, Halford has been enamoured with Tipton his entire life, mainly because Tipton was unattainable. In recent years Halford could finally unleash his affection, publicly at that. He must have got off pretty hard. Same with Tipton who extorted the audience for pity and finally basked in the attention he always felt Halford deprived him of: "When the kids scream my name I feel alive. I don't know what I'd do once it's over. For now I'm enjoying it and the kids are enjoying it. But I live in the middle of nowhere, so I'm always occupied."

I keep waiting for the lead knight to yell "SOAP!"

Judas Priest has always had this problem, at least since Turbo came out when I was in high school, of having a set of hard core fans that somehow new better what "real Priest" was better than the guys in the band. Oh, synth guitars aren't real Priest, said thousands of punk kids that never met Priest, but because they saw them in concert one summer thought they were the arbiters of what Halford et al were allowed to produce musically. I always thought tat was for Halford, Tipton and Downing to decide for themselves, silly me. Truth is that Priest has actually just had a broader musical palate than these fans, and so "real Priest" covers more ground than these fans would like. I see that trend is still going strong. Never occurred to anyone I guess that the reason they covered Diamonds and Rust wasn't to give a middle finger to "lame" joan Baez, but because someone in the band actually likes Joan Baez. They have broad musical tastes. The final track on this album is a good song, if your musical tastes aren't so narrow you could thread a needle with them.

Loved late 70s Priest. This new record sounds great, although I consider it a Snead Halford album.

To me, the comic that got me back into comics was Kevin Smith's Green Arrow, that was a perfect reintroduction to Oliver Queen and his supporting cast!

Rageaholic, I think you need to listen to the album a few more times. Priest has been my favorite band since the early 70's and Invincible shield is one the best albums they've ever done. I'm sorry you find it so generic because it actually is a fantastic album. Just the fact that Halford at his age can sing as well as he does on this album is incredible. The songs are not weak as you describe them in your review. Rob Halford might be what's called a Progressive Christian without actually sitting down and having a talk with him about his faith I think it would be hard to know what he believes. I think he's still sorting all that out. Anyway, I'm a fan of your content. Keep making awesome video's and always say what you think.

Bought the record a couple of weeks ago, excellent from start to finish. Compared to someone like Iron Maiden, their music is aging like a fine wine
