Plane crashes happen everywhere. For them there are no borders and nationalities. Their number depends both on the number of flights and the culture of these flights.
The probability of air crashes and flight accidents can be reduced by using modern means of monitoring the state of technology. For example, after two cases of destruction in the air, the Blahnik L-13 glider is subject to mandatory inspection and repair. MANDATORY. Without it, flights are not possible in Europe. Blaniki are being repaired and this saves the lives of the pilots.
In Russia, the main number of Blanikovs are state-owned by DOSAAF clubs. Funds for repairs are not allocated. Repairs are not made, but flights are allowed. Otherwise, there is no technology that will fly.
And on such Blaniks in Russia they sometimes spin corkscrews and dead loops, exposing the lives of students and passengers to absolutely unnecessary risk.
Aviation equipment must be checked and repaired. It also needs to be updated periodically. This is exactly the reason why glider flights will never be cheap. Unless with the help of subsidies from the state or patrons - sponsors.
Discussion on this topic ended alas unsuccessfully. My colleague used an argument in the style of "but you have some people hanged overseas." That is, instead of recognizing the problem and looking for ways to eliminate it, he said - "in Russia, everything has been fine for five years, but your pilot crashed in the Alps"
My friend Sergei crashed. And that's exactly the reason why I made this video. Although there was no desire to create such shitty content.
There is some kind of ethics in the aviation environment. A line that should not be crossed. I sincerely feel sorry for the wretched colleague who transgressed it.
