I like the Babysitter films, especially Robbie Amell's character, who genuinely seems to want to help the kid with his bully and is so weirdly supportive with him. And of course Samara Weaving kicks ass as always.

Personally I'm 14 and driving scares me. I can't focus properly and aswell on a highway a rock too oddly big in a bad place at a bad time could cause death. That scares me aswell a bunch of what looks like meatheads not abiding road laws

Time to nurd out here, if cole didnt do what melanie told him what to do, he would have taken the alcohol wich was druged, fell asleep and bea would have taken his blood, they would have done the sacrifice and carry one, in the movie we see bea fastly cover up the deaths in the house and its not unreasonable to beleave she done it before, as she said shes town hopped a few times and i think shes done the alcohol thing with cole before, so presumably done the ritual thing in that house before, might be wrong but oh well

I absolutely adore The Babysitter. It’s a fun film for when you just want some laughs and gore, but it’s not something ideal to watch if you want horror

Go to The Shining or Poltergeist. Even Signs is one I like to go back to and rewatch just for fun. The original Ju-On The Grudge. While it is a very very low budget horror, it's a classic and they more than made up with scaring the crap out of me when I was 13. Japanese horror movie directors really just know how to scare people.

The characters may be cliché but they’re interesting enough to be perfectly fitting in a movie like this although I felt like the second one was Better the pacing was a lot less all over the place and it was much more funny even though the original is pretty funny

He's not some martial artist or expert fighter, so of course he can't hurt a kid who's the same age when given nothing but his bare hands. That's like saying "Oh, a kid was able to shoot a home invader but he couldn't beat up his bully?" as if those two skills correlate.

Resident tarantula hobbyist here, tarantulas live in jungles, forests, deserts, and plains, and sometimes wander into human residential areas due to invading their environment. The tarantulas used in this movie are the Mexican Red Knee, or Brachypelma Hamorrii, which were the same type of tarantulas used in Indiana Jones.

This movie was a lot more than a boy turning into a man, it’s about a boy overcoming his greatest fears, throughout the movie you learn what he’s scared of, like the beginning when he is scared of the needle or when he’s with his mother and freaks out over a spider, and when he is with his dad and doesn’t want to drive because he is scared, and throughout the movie he overcomes those things, like when they drew blood from him how he was completely still, and in the crawl space when there is spiders crawling all over his blanket and obviously the car through the house. Also you never talked about the wishes everyone wants, like how one of them wasn’t there for a wish but to just kill people for fun, and also how the ending explains how Bee has done the ritual before, and wished for immortality.
