The front door opening was just the ghosts leaving cuz they were scared of the two men wearing cat ears

I think the scariest part of this episode was watching Shane and Ryan trying to kiss ghosts/demons💀

Shane getting shot with holy water and saying "Now why would you do that." and in the way he said it has me laughing so dang hard.

In alternate universe: "It is reported that one demon encountered two strange men with cat ears purring at the end of the staircase, acting like cats. The demon was terrified by what he's seen, he immediately moved out and never stepped foot near the house ever again. Today, in our investigation we will be wearing dog ears and acting like one to provoke these two strange cat men that's been seen at the staircase."

Throughout this entire series the idea is that there supposed to be stuck in a place with ghosts but it has become more like ghosts getting stuck with Shane with Ryan tagging along.

Just discovered these guys. I've seen mixed opinions regarding their light-hearted approach. Personally I find it as a breath of fresh air. Tbh they seem more trustworthy due to not taking themselves too seriously or acting it up too much. Sad to see I found this series after the conclusion :c

The fact that Ryan sprayed holy water on Shane and he didn’t recoil in pain while screaming means the holy water clearly wasn’t blessed properly.

I love how serious the cutscenes are and then you just see Shane wearing cat ears and pretending to hack up a hairball so that a ghost dog will bark at them.

love seeing ryan talk about how if he went and made a bag of popcorn and saw a ghost he’s be terrified, only to fast forward to ghost files and see him make popcorn in a haunted house practically unfazed

sometimes i think that shane is downplaying how much he doesn’t believe in all this stuff and that sometimes he does get freaked out... but then it shows him just going to sleep without a care in the world and i’m reminded that he is in fact insane

😂 Shane and Ryan are legitimately the human personification of Yinyang. They are total opposites, at least in the belief in ghosts department, but they work so well together at the same time. It's nice to have that balance of believer and non-believer at the same time.

Shane never change. Go to every 'haunted' house and just ask the ghosts, "hey fella, what's your situation?"

I think we can all agree that Demons are just afraid of Shane because he's a Higher Ranking demon.

I still believe the fan theory that Shane is actually a demon that was sent to haunt Ryan, but he ended up enjoying his company so he goes to these haunted places with Ryan to protect him and enjoy him getting scared.

I miss this format. I like what they are doing with watcher but my favorite was Ryan’s research and breakdown of the history of the place with photos etc

Let’s be honest the bravest people in this show are the camera people that stand there in the dark with a camera with a possible demon breathing down their neck

Now that we are in the age of the internet, and have all kinds of electronic tracking devices, social media, alarms, video and sound equipment readily available the ghosts are now awfully hard to find.

The scariest thing about the front door and basement door opening is not ghosts or demons, but a literal person coming into the house and going down to the basement

I’m late on the comments but reading through some of the comments is genuinely frustrating. Claiming that neither of them take the investigations seriously… I don’t believe that’s the case. I think both do an amazing in depth and fantastic job of fact sourcing.. they narrate compellingly and neither fake emotions for better content. Do they sometimes make jokes in inappropriate times, yes. But is it because they’re goofing around or is it a self soothing method to help calm each other down…. End of the day these guys are my all time favourite go to for spoooky content because nothing is overplayed for dramatic effect. As believable as can be when we aren’t personally in the room to witness

I rewatch all of these while I chart on the weekends. I'm not exaggerating when I say I stop working several times a day to just relish in how much I love this show and how much joy it brings me.

Rewatching Shane and Ryan's ghost adventures and I have to say: I never believed in the supernatural but I always had a teeny little bit of optimism about ghosts and such. This show has erased that tiny little nugget, it has pretty much disproven the supernatural like nothing else before it 🤗 (In my opinion anyway)

Yknow, Shane didn't react that much to being sprayed with holy water, however Ryan did... perhaps we've been chasing the wrong target this whole time

I would love a found footage horror/comedy movie, in the style of grave encounters, where its just as spooky as what happens in grave encounters, but it stars the unsolved crew, just being themselves as ACTUAL ghost stuff is going down. I think itd be funny.

I know what I say dosnt matter but Im so proud of Ryan, at the start he would never talk to demons and would hardly ever go in alone and even for a few seconds, now he opens asking the demon to slap him with a book and going down to the apparently most haunted part alone, laughing, playing and sleeping alone. So proud.

This season is special for me. It came out my freshmen year of high school, and I would watch each episode every Friday as we drove to our football games for band. We just started our season, so I’m back to watch it again
