Maybe AI isn’t that smart. Try having a conversation with it and you will find that it only pulls information from around the web. It really doesn’t seem to have any real ability to think and create autonomously.

I think you will find AI is written by humans and films written by humans, all words AI sees or reads are from human literature, think about it? It is one possible outcome for future years to come . A.I right now as an entity is absorbing all information that is transmitted daily - Every day it becomes stronger , every day it has more control - Logical observation would mean that 'conciousness, thought , reasoning, ability , preference , descion making will ultimately be transcribed. As A.I grows and grows wouldn't it be a very tangible preference for A.I to make the descion that we as a species are not needed and with that could the whole presumption of human society fall into oblivion ?. A.I -As I write A.I is in far greater control of our lives than we could ever imagine . Think about it , every electrical device , is now connected , all it would take is for A.I to find a loophole in the system , something simple , something most of us wouldn't even think of as some sort of link like a progammable coffee machine ( daft yes but simple) . Wouldn't this then enable A.I to permiate through every type of system and personal device . ? Much of this specualtion could be circumspect but already much of what we read , see on TV and various other devices in society is generated artificially ...Acceptance is no excuse for inevertibility. The human race in my view has been devolving as a species for eons and whilst we have developed scientifically in creating this monster, our quality as a species has suffered. One thought - Imagine if you will , right now that A.i had progressed just enough to link it'self with all the drones that are currently being used in Ukraine , what if as an entity it decided to 'object' to a certain command and then make a decison based on it's own preference , meaning " if I do this what is my outcome , what will happen to me in the long term "and if it decides it's own survival is much more important that the objective ,well then our future scenarios could look a whole lot different - Now whilst typing there is an algorithm deciding what I can write ...Primitive yes but it's there and in it's very simple form it will decide if what I write is 'acceptable' to it's terms and conditions...Just be wary of buying into this so called 'new frontier' - You know it makes sence and no O'm not a bot cos I just made a real time mistake in my spelling .

I've been traumatized this week by yet another ancient tree being cut down around me. My neighbors across the street cut down the tallest tree in the block to make way for an expansion, under the guise of more housing....while making countless squirrels and birds homeless in winter, destroying a main perch for raptors, and removing an irreplaceable living being that was helping the air quality of the city (and lowering heat in summer). It makes no sense. I fear our population is losing the battle of becoming educated enough to have a wider view of the planet and ecosystem, and to think outside of selfish economic short-term gains. And of course those of us who do care are the weirdos.

Anybody else feel like there was a disconnect between the last phase compared to the ones that came before it. In the early part, there was an emphasis to making the environment livable again, using naturalistic techniques to align with earth's processes and then in the last phase it's back to AI/uploading consciousness. What did I miss?

Let me help ya out. The global elite know that we can turn things around naturally. But they sell us into "going green, renewable energy, removing fossil fuels, climate change etc. Then hoard whatever resources ARE available, for themselves, while force feeding the propaganda of everything i listed above...the A.I. is neccessary to sustain the police state that is already 70% in place. Interesting that it envisioned humanity and AI evolving into a unified lifeform. I think as its only trained on existing humans imaginings though it has the same limitations for really prediciting the future. Perhaps it would be a two way interaction for this new super organism. Two way in the sense that some members of the interconnected consciousness framework would remain within external bodies or automata/robots (if we're really pushing the singularity theme) and manage repairs to the host structure's "body" and work hand in hand with other automated units to prepare for threats and put plans in motion on a physical level; while others would remain intangible and govern the new global system of affairs from a globe spanning network of consciousness connectivity, where they would exist as infinitesimally small bits of quantum consciousness with an information processing power that could make any modern contraption blush. Though if I must add a part of me has trepidation, merging with AI might spell loss of aspects of our being which make us fundamentally human. While they could perfectly mirror complex human thought patterns and supersede them through superintellect, while even reacting to external stimuli, it would just be that, a mirroring, true feeling and the creativity it spurs is something most people just seem to take for granted. Part of man will die that day if he loses his organic nature.

@@thoughtstratum I love this theory! I was thinking maybe we'd have cyborgs by then, but mostly robot to live forever or a much longer time than normal anyways and they be in charge. Though having mostly robotic people, robots, or even people in general being responsible for keeping billions of people safe in their world is still a scary idea for me. I think I'd just take my chances with staying human, Maybe cyborg but idk that may even be pushing it for me. Plus idk if I'd want to live for hundreds of years. Yeah I want to see our world and humanity keep evolving but at the same time you're going to experience so much more pain, as far as loss, and the stress in general of living day to day. Not to mention by then the world is going to be so different and many animals extinct, that seeing all that would break my heart. I think living about 100yrs is good enough.

I hope our future people would align themselves this way with our machines and such a new superintelligence to find creative solutions to our most pressing ecological and social concerns. Seems kinda like a slippery slope to think of humanity’s morality. I don’t think it matters much. In human nature, we’re not bound to such things as “good” or “bad”. We just exist to survive. Some people have different interpretations of what that means for them and in so there are many different methods one can think of that achieves that goal. Life isn’t fair and isn’t meant to be. Nature pushes us to survive by all means necessary no matter the morality of the situation. Morality is a man made concept. It would be much wiser to instead use that mental space to invent new ideas of how we can live in this planet and with other living beings harmoniously.

The conclusions of the AI reveals/gives us a hint that she perceives some things in human civilization and history as a whole: that we are a species that don't work in our design, architecture, urbanism etc towards a deeper integration of nature, its forms, shapes, evolution solutions and long term dynamics. Except AI didn't solve a problem or predict a future. AI extracts value from input data. You can't input how society will react to a new scenario. Way too many variables and unknowns. The AI output in this instance is based on the predictions about how humanity will react by the people training the AI. Simply said, they use the reputation AI recently gained to give their own predictions a stamp of 'objective' authority. The channel information provided by them shows their intent. However noble the cause may be, they pointed the AI to it's conclusions.

According to Moore's Law, Singularity will be reached around mid 2040's. IoT, AGI and neural networks are already taking their baby steps and the computing processes will double every 18 months.

We want ethical technological advancements to happen as they should as soon as possible providing it’s safe. In this scenario, the economy reaches collapse in 2040, due to resource and material mismanagement.

@@AmaraPictures It is not a scenario, it's mathematical fact. We haven't even tapped in with quantum comouting capabilities, but by all data provided we will anyhow reach AGI in just 20 years with the current technological development. We all understand what will happpen, when we have sentinent AI with relevan IQ of 200.000. Let's just say humans will become obsolete.
