Morrison was a great fighter at times. His attitude was good, and he knew what he had to work on, but his lifestyle out of the ring often left him less than adequately prepared for some of his fights. If he could have avoided the out of ring distractions he could have been one of the all time greats. That left hook was a bomb when it landed. But his right was pretty awesome, too. His biggest flaw was that he was too easy to hit. That could have been worked out if he just would have dedicated himself more to training and less to partying. You did a great job paying tribute to Morrison here. The man has passed on - giving him a tribute like this one is very well received by his fans,.family, and those who knew him. (By not showing the Mercer ko, and only focusing on the good, this does him well. You showed him get knocked down, then get back up to win..) what a great tribute.

There is audio missing near the halfway point of the video and ending at 8:44. Otherwise, awesome video. I was a huge boxing fan at this point in time. It was such an amazing period for the sport. Tommy is one of those boxers that hits harder and faster and with more ferocity than the average boxer. It’s visually apparent when you watch Tommy’s fights. The fact that Tommy continued fighting after breaking his jaw and winning the match shows hoe much heart he had. I was so hopeful that Tommy would live up to the hype and expectations, but he wanted to live life and have fun like most people in their 20’s. Sad story.

OMG, I swore TYSON was the greatest and he very well may be and I thought "Tommy would not be able to play defense as well against Iron Mike" however was I wrong Tommy just LIKE Tyson mixed up his defense with offensive, they are the same in nearly every level and who knows who would of WON.....Tommy had some scary POWER as did Tyson, whoever was having the better day or lucky enough to connect first?.... Nah, I think whoever of them could EAT more punishment would of WON and its as simple as this.... The question is, is that the great white hope or Iron Mike..... Mike had a much better run obviously and both were screwed in their own ways however, there is absolutely COMPARING.... Ali is the "Fastest" boxer to ever live, Mike might be the greatest as now we will never know with Tommy's limited RUN.... Had the pleasure of meeting him twice. Once was in Virginia at an Arcade I worked at when he was training for a fight at VMI. Him and his coach came in and I gave them a bunch of free games. He signed an autograph that day for me and I got one for my Dad as well, who was also a huge fight fan. The second time I met him was in Vegas years later and my Dad was with me that time. We went to the weigh-in the day before and got to talk with him afterwards. He took pictures with my Dad and I and signed autographs again. He was to have fought Arthur Weathers the next day as a tune-up fight for his upcoming fight with Tyson. I asked him when he was gonna knock out Weathers and he said, "As soon as he makes a mistake." Unfortunately I never got to see him fight in person, because when my Dad and I were at the fight the next day, they announced that Morrison would not be fighting because of a medical reason. When I got back to L.A. I found out on the news that it was because of his HIV diagnosis. I was absolutely crushed to hear this news. He was still so young and had such a promising career ahead of him. Still has an impressive record for his relatively short career with 48 wins, 42 KO's, 3 losses and 1 draw. He without a doubt had one of the most devastating left hooks in boxing history and his right wasn't half bad either. Thanks for putting together this greatest hits of his.
