Lmao l sit with these two boys in world geography and we have this ongoing gag where me and one of the boys calls the other Kevin because one time he got mad at the computer and said, “ugh, I wanna speak to your manager” and now every time we sit down, we say “hey Kevin, have you gotten anybody arrested today?” He also says that Karen is his wife, so her calling the dude Ken just made me laugh.

The mask mandate is fairly loose in my area so I don’t give a crap if a customer comes in without a mask. However, I had one customer who was holding his mask, not wearing it, and was coughing profusely. Every time I tried to move away from him, he just got closer to me. He seemed totally oblivious to what he was doing and he smelled like pot. I don’t think he’s allowed in the store anymore.

I’m just the opposite of Karens. I always ask for the worker’s name so I can go to management immediately and let them know how much the person helped me and were so nice. I don’t care if I’m at Walmart, Target or a nice place. Frontline workers are treated so badly for most often NO REASON! When my daughter was in the hospital I personally wrote each doctor, nurse, tech and cleaning person a note thanking them for their sometimes thankless work. I love your channel. ❤️🤗🙌🏻

9:30 one that reminds me of my best friend. She is 26 years old but since she had cancer at a toddler age she was given so many medicine that had her stop growing and her height is like 6 years old. She is able to drive but one lady yelled at her and pushed the golf cart she was driving and yelled saying she wasn’t old enough. When my friend’s mom went to talk to her the Karen yelled at her saying “Well how old is she!?” But same answer the mom gave her “none of your business.” And that’s when my best friend yelled at her and said “I ALMOST DIED WHEN I WAS A BABY!!!”

Have a family friend named Karen (sweetest woman ever). My mom who thinks it’s funny and told her about what a “Karen” is, her (joking) reaction was “I get/like the idea, but why does it have to be my name?!”

I mean I hate the "I'm calling corporate" threat too but after being told we had to wait 20 mins for a table for me and my mother and they sat the couple that came in after us imediately because we had a service dog and they wanted to put us away from everyone else. My least favorite thing about Karen’s is that they don’t understand that it is not illegal to take a video or picture of them in public. It’s only illegal to do that if u take a picture of them when they r in their own home. Perks of having both my parents in law enforcement. That’s why there is security cameras in stores. I never see Karen’s complain about those even tho they are also recording them…..? But I would also like to add that it is rude to record someone and also a little creepy, and if they ask u to stop recording them and you don’t, that is extremely rude. Just try and treat people with kindness guys.

I was accidentally doing the Karen in the 10 items or less video for a few people. In my defence, it was a checkout lane that I frequented almost every time I went to that Walmart and they recently made it into a 10 or less checkout. it took me almost a month before I was told that it was changed.

Ive met a Karen in highschool. So during the beginning of school we still had to wear masks. One day while we were heading home on the bus it was like 100+ degrees and we couldnt do anything because the elementary school parents decided to try to pick up their kids 1 hour early. So, we all had separate seats on the bus, and obviously I was super hot because we have been sitting there on a hot bus for like 30 minutes, and I have panic attacks easily so I had to do something about it. I pulled my mask down to my chin and started breathing a little better, not by much though. This other highschooler decided to start screaming at me to put my mask up, and I couldnt even talk normally, so I ignored her. I had to deal with this woman screaming at me to pull my mask up for another like 45 minutes. At this point my anxiety was through the roof. So, when its time to get off the bus I pull my mask up, because yknow.. im walking by people. And this woman started screaming at me louder infront of everyone saying stuff like "Oh so now youre going to pull your mask up bitch?" as she said this she flipped me off. And what makes me so mad is that she had her mask down the whole time as well.

So the lady in the beginning of the video who was standing there folding her arms at the boys skateboarding...that's at the 9/11 monument/memorial. My guess is that this woman found them skateboarding around and probably just not giving the memorial the respect and dignity it deserves. I actually don't mind that lady because she defended something important, stood her ground, and didn't attack or call names. She probably just wants to preserve dignity and respect for the memorial.

I just need to say something that will make me sound like a Karen Sometimes saying I want the manager is ok, it just depends on why you need to speak to the manager, When to ask to speak to the manager: if your in danger, there worker is actually in the wrong or something that actually needs to be said When not to ask for the manager: any Karen stuff.

So when there was still a mask mandate I would always where a mask to school and when my family and I went out in public, since my Mother and I were both asthmatic, and she had a lot of health issues. So my mom worked at my school when people were allowed to go back to work and one of my teachers never wore a mask which bothered me since she was an older woman, I asked her one day to put it on and she said "Are you disrespecting me? I can do what I want I'm in America." I calmed down and told her I was asthmatic and my mom had health issues. She then proceeded to say that I was lying to get pity from the class...yea. Guess who retired the next year...

My aunt that died of cancer was named Karen. She died before calling people Karen was a thing. She was a really sweet person that loved nature, too. She was kind to everyone. And she always gave me educational presents for Christmas/birthdays. Hate the whole "Karen" thing.

My mom had an experience with a Karen. At Walmart, she was getting a electric cart for me. This woman and her daughter came up to my mom. They told her to get off the cart, because the woman needed it. My mom said no but she got it for her daughter who had a broken leg. Karen then decided she was going to try to break my mother’s wrist. I told mom she should have called the cops.

6:36 is the thing i REALLY don't get about those people. Even if you fucked up and somehow missed a policy to get a refund or something an employee will have a much greater chance of making an exeption when someone's nice about it, at least i was when working in retail.

I work in retail and I deal with a lot of Karen's but I have a really wonderful supportive management and co-workers. The other day we had a big sale where we close at 10:00 p.m. and there was a Karen that was in our store till about 10:30 p.m. and she kept going back and forth getting more stuff and her husband supposedly who was autistic disabled I asked him if you could just pull up his the cart so I can start scanning because she had a cart full, and she yelled at me saying that I was yelling at her disabled husband. I said no honey it's because that we're closed... We closed at 10:00 and it's already 10:30 and we want to start cleaning up so come on and bring your stuff up. She then started saying that I was rude and she was a paying customer that she has a right to stay long as she wants... Normally I'm very nice, but it was really long day... So I said let's go lol I shouldn't have said that but she was pissing me off. She's like you don't have to yell, I said I'm not yelling! You're yelling at me.! She was projecting her frustrations out on me saying that I was yelling when she was yelling. I just said pull up your cart so I can start scanning your stuff please. I had this bagger who is also a sales associate and I ended up telling him to take over my till because she was really irritating me and I needed a cool off. I have bipolar disorder and shit like this really irritates me. So I was helping my other co-workers next to me bagging the rest of the people that were leaving because of the big sale, and I accidentally dropped some bags on the ground because of my carpal tunnel and I exclaimed oh my gosh... The Karen who was yelling at me about me rushing her out of the store thought I was talking about her when I said oh my gosh when I wasn't. Thankfully The sales associate and bagger told her that to leave me alone because I'm not even doing anything. I was nervous because I thought I was going to get in trouble for just like walking off from the register but I wanted to punch her. My one manager pulled me aside and I was like good God I'm going to get written up for this! She actually pulled me aside and said honey you did a wonderful job and she bitches all the time. She comes in the store threatening to call corporate all the time... You did a fantastic job handling it and walking away like that is really smart because if you would have cussed her out that would have made us look worse but you did the right thing. She called her a Karen cunt and I was laughing so hard... She knew I was upset because I and the type of person that is nice as heck but if you press my buttons... You're done, you're done. Lol. After she left the store she said that she was going to write a bad review about me and she wanted my name... And my manager gave me a fake name lol to back me up! The main manager store owner that was there that day actually said to me that I did nothing wrong and never even yelled. He heard the entire conversation and said that I handled it like a boss. He said that, walking away was the most best thing I did. Because a lot of the sales associates here would have cussed them out. And I think you should be able to cuss out Karen's a couple times a year. Especially during the holidays

Working at Dunkins you will always meet Karen's. Practically daily. This was in the 2000's!! They will always threaten with the manager bullshit, and many times I would just turn around and ask how could I help. Or excuse myself, grab a piece of paper and write the corporation number on it. And call the next customer. Treating them like garbage was my daily pleasure.

I was a supervisor at whole foods while I was pregnant. I think I was around 7 months along and at the end of a very long opening shift, this lady comes up and starts screaming at me about how nasty our workers behind the meat counter were to her And then proceeded to chew me out for being rude because she wouldn't let me get a word in, and then the topper: "I didn't survive CANCER to be treated like this!" Anyway she thought the absolute world of herself. She thought just because she was a volunteer she had the right to boss around every student who went to the school. And their parents. An probably the teachers too tbh. Istg one of the most annoying people I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting.
