Buy a business and run it into the ground; pay for your expenses with the business. Use that money to buy another business and get the money from both to buy another business and pay more expenses while bankrupting them. Repeat as many times as possible. Then claim the losses from the businesses so you don’t have to pay taxes for expenses. Got it.

Taxes get paid by one party or another. Simple example: if Trump loses $100m by paying $200m to his hotel employees while only making $100 revenue from it, this $100m will still be taxed and the employees will pay the taxes on it. All the deductions are basically expenses that are income for somebody else, and this somebody else pays taxes on this income. Except for depreciation deductions, but they are offset by huge real estate taxes.

Just think about if you could put your political views aside. Trump did not pay enough taxes for years. It is not illegal to pay fewer taxes if you could use the system for your benefits. I will be doing the same; you will be doing the same; the only way to pay fewer taxes, you have to be rich and afford $2000.00 an hour tax lawyers and many of them. We need to change the tax laws and the PS politicians that wrote the tax laws for themself and their rich friends. These tax talks are old news, it did not do any good in 2016, and it will not do any good now in 2020. JUST BE RICH, AND YOU CAN USE THE TAX LAWS FOR YOURSELF AND HAVE VERY EXPENSIVE TAX LAWYERS.

Chaos Trump's strategy in the debate was to create chaos. He disrupted, shouted, insulted and made fun of the truth several times. In any case, Biden has succeeded in establishing himself as someone who can handle a fight, despite his age. In addition, he showed himself in the election debate as a coherent and clear speaker. The dementia Trump accused Biden of in recent months was by no means the case. The debate was chaotic, but it did not seem to be due to Biden's lack of concentration. Previously, the cause was Trump's constant interruptions.

OK so HOW MUCH DID HE MAKE between 2005-2008 to have paid $72 million income taxes ? So he did PAY taxes in order to get that refund right? If he paid at a 20% tax rate, that would mean he MADE $380 million in those years. Secondly, the NYT reported that the tax refund was the result of losses from the SALE of his shares in his Atlanta Casino. So, HOW MUCH did he sell those shares for? If he sold the shares for a 33% loss and got a refund of $72 million, that means in 2009 alone he raised $216 million from this one action. We know he donated his Presidential salary in 2017 so it's OK he paid $750. Thirdly the NYT article complained that his company paid millions of income tax abroad. His critics stupidly try to say he's broke, but if you think for a moment, He made so much money he had to pay $72 million of income taxes - the shares he sold on the stockmarket even at a 33% loss was still worth $144 million, and the government covered the loss, so that''s another 210 million into his pocket. Then on top of that he's paid millions of dollars of taxes overseas in countries with a lower tax-rate. In other words, he's got FAR MORE MONEY THAN you think he has.

@@oluwaseyia8548 Debts? So far all they could find is some 300 million of debts, which is spare change if you consider the assets that they hold and how much income they generate every year. As far as banks are concerned, you can't borrow without security and income streams, so, yes, he is certainly a very rich man, far richer than you, and he paid far more taxes than you ever did. AND YES, MAKING MONEY DOES MEAN having it in your possession IF YOU HAVE THE TAX LAWYERS AND ACCOUNTANTS THAT HE HAS. Don't use your standards to gauge a billionaire.

Toraguchi Toraguchi , Trump has borrowed several times and he has exhausted his line of credit with most bank institutions. Research it. Trump has been able to get away with most of his shady deals because of past reputations with his financial institutions but that’s no longer the case. In those 2 years he received no salary from his Job as President. As for the previous years, all the NYT could reveal was he got a tax refund in 2009 of 72 million dollars - and that actually means he paid 72 million dollars of income tax in the 4 years before 2009. And you have to ask yourself, HOW MUCH DID HE MAKE in order to have to pay 72 million dollars?

Trump has billed secret service (aka taxpayers) to the tune of $1 million dollars to rent out rooms and $64 million dollars to fly and protect him at Mar-a-Lago! And that doesn't include the salaries he forces taxpayers to pay for daughter-wife Ivanka and Kushner. Trump the made the airforce stay *40 times* (costing taxpayers millions) at his failing Scottish resort and refuel there even though it would have been cheaper and closer to stay at the military base.
