To be fair, Tubbo's character is kinda close to being manipulative when it comes to c! Ranboo. He literally has perfected the art of making him pay for everything and ropes him into going onto dangerous adventures with him constantly. Not that he actually intends to do any harm; It's a very playful kind of influencing c!Ranboo, and I'd say that it doesn't affect their relationship negatively. I can imagine c!Tubbo being very good at manipulating people if he were to thoroughly understand the concept and methods of it, though. Anyway, super cute art, as per usual!

I too got interested in manipulation while watching the Dream SMP, because I realized that I couldn't point it out when c!Wilbur was being manipulative, so I searched some of the techniques and now I know how it works xD It's so easy to do it without noticing tho, I'm sure every single person manipulated other at least once in their lifes without knowing it's manipulation.

I read the title and I was Like man ypoolachun? Like whas MANYPOOLACHUN and then I heard tubbo say it and I'm like ohhh manipulation .. what does that mean?

So for anyone who wants to know, I'm totally not looking at you, Tubbo, manipulation is basically just fucking with people's mind and feelings, not something to be proud of except for when you are proud of that. There indeed are a few methods of doing so. First, one of the simplest form of manipulation, be their friend, the most common method. You first earn their trust, learn about their nature and use it against them. If someone is a caring and emotional person you will most likely have to play the innocent poor guy that's been through shit. Just act depressing all the time, this is familiar to guilt trip but instead of their guilt you use their kindness. Or for example someone who is always on high guard and more rational than emotional. Earning their trust will be more difficult but once you did it, you will know the work was worth it. Since they are rather rational you have to mess with their minds. Give them some ,,advices" that are logical enough and sound like something they could profit from, or at least they think. Tho you can't give too much advices and if you do, give them advices that actually profits them from time to time, so the trust stays. Second, you show them that you're their enemy. This is a little bit more complicated but it's easy once you get how it works. Well, as their enemy they wouldn't trust you just a bit so they will not do what you say and sometimes even do the opposite, even if what you told them to do something that's actually good for them. Tho there's still a chance they can see through your facade, that mostly only happens with people that are rely on their logic tho. It works the best on someone with a big ego, because they will be too proud to do as you say. You can also confuse the victim if they are very intelligent, they don't even have to be very smart to be confused. If you tell them to do something good they would ponder if it is a trap or not. This method has a lower chance to work on a very highly intelligent person or a complete dumbass. Third, the easiest method that can be either very harmless or very dangerous if used correctly, guilt trip. It's pretty easy and I don't think I have to explain it. Fourth, gaslighting. Now, I learned this from a video once, it's just the basics but basics can always be turned into something more advanced, just like math, once you get the basics, advanced stuff are easy. Anyways, gaslighting is when you lower someone's confidence so much, make them think they are useless, weak and that you're the only one they can trust since you're so smart and wise. You basically just pull them down, say they're weak but compliment the things you want from them, even thought they might not even have it. For example, you say the victim is weak and shit but then you compliment their kindness or something. Even of they aren't kind, after they hear your words they will start to believe they actually are kind and act like a kind person. But be careful, you have to tell them that you're not pulling them down, you're just telling them about their flaws so they can be better and you have to show them that you care and only want the best for them. I promise I've never used any of these manipulations before, well maybe a little bit of guilt trip but it's as harmless as a fly. Guilt tripping is something everyone can learn without anyone explaining to them how it works. Gaslighting is something I saw in a video. Using someone is easy, often comes in movies. Make the people do the opposite of what you say is also from movies but only a part of it, I figured out the rest. So uhhh don't use it, unless you do
