I've served and been in the field many times in freezing conditions, I just know what they feel and for them to know they'll never get relieved it must be absolutely awful.

43 years as the average age? Thus, this is including that men until the age of 65 must be fighting. 2 things will be happening. The age is coming down, because younger men are coming or this war ends because younger men are not coming. Brutal truth. For Ukrainian teenagers your future is not pretty but you have no choice fighting or giving up.

Some of the peace terms were already signed in april 2022, but west insisted ukraine to abandon peacetalks and choose war instead and now we have this misery.

The Carl Gustav M45 was in use when I did my military service in 1984 in Sweden, an excellent weapon in close combat, eg in trenches, was used by the US in Vietnam as well

The weapon he is showing at 9:30 was not retired in Sweden in 1965. I used it during my own miltary service and I was born in 1961... I don't know when we stopped using them, but they were used way into the 80's, for sure. For certain kinds of close combat, it is a very capable gun. It is extremely simple and reliable. At 100 m it is quite accurate as well. It is a 9mm parabellum gun, so it doesn't pack the greatest punch, though. I'm not saying this diminish their hardships or lack of equipment, but fact are facts.

The Swedish K was used in Sweden until 2007. It is a very capable close combat gun. Used in Vietnam by US specialforces until Sweden stoped US army from using them.

Average age of the solders 43.. All the youngsters are partying in Kiev. The young people of Europe are in for a shock.

Well now, the Swedish K (M45 Sub Machine Gun) may not be new and flashy,. Nor is it hard hitting or have a long reach. But for close quarters fighting and self defence it is one of the easiest to use and dependable weapons you can have. Just one Swedes opinion...

I know it's not important, but the m/45 smg was taken out of service in the 90s and some homeguard units used it into the 2000s

So many comments praising these journalists just seems off to me... They chose to go there & well know the danger just to get the story... The praise should be for these few proud warriors who have indured the unindurable... Put their lives on the line 24/7 without leave to see their family's.. So , why so many comments boasting the quality of the peice & the bravery of these journalists ?? They dont have to be there ... Those men & women in combat have No Choice ...

As much money as we’ve sent over there just from the US alone should be enough to fully outfit idk how many thousands of soldiers. I heard a Brit born volunteer speak about how Trucks loaded with all brand new US kit.. everything an infantryman needed on his person and even new M-4 rifles crates of ammo and all just before being moved much closer to the front.. they tried to take the new weapons and other goodies as they had not a gun amongst the platoon he was in or any of the platoons making up this group.. they were told they’d get them when they got where they were going.. I bet anyone reading has guessed already.. yep it all disappeared magically in a country with check points everywhere especially back when this happened near the beginning of the war. He said things were like that a lot but nothing near the insanity of fealty and squaller left behind anywhere his people got to see after being recaptured by Ukrainian troops. Ukrainian people seem great but they have been allowing such corruption go unpunished for so long it beggars belief. Now the US is fast tracking our modernization programs to catch up to the highest levels of corruption amongst politicians and bureaucrats than anywhere on Earth. Makes me wonder at times. Peace ✌️ to the whole world.

That M45 Karl Gustav is a machine pistol. It's more for police or security details. I believe it's chambered in 9 x 19 parabellum, so for short distances it's ok, light and not too accurate. But to shoot across a field at somebody 200 meters away, you're just guessing, with such a rate of drop for that round, you might have to aim over their heads like trying to guess it's ballistic arc. I wouldn't even bother at that range. It's probably on viable clearing trenches where your enemy is 20 feet away.

What devoted soldiers! My heart goes out to them. When one soldier was saying C'mon! It crushed me. "When we win..." I am saddened mostly by knowing NATO encroachment is killing these brave men.

Is there anyway to use styrofoam to insulate the drone batteries like they use for refrigeration.Take a small block of styrofoam and insert the battery inside of the styrofoam and see what happens. You may have insulate the whole electrical system but it’s worth a try.

That is really the most miserable place to fight in. The 0 degree wheather is the worst. Nothing ever dries. It's always damp and cold. In freezing it's at least dry. And then the mud. Just fields of mud.
