great video, i need help, iam using ble proximity in esp 32 to trigger my light bulb in my living room the problem is my living room is little big so when im in corner of the room esp does not catch the ble signal from my smart watch so im thinking of using another esp32 module to create mesh network to extend signal to cover every corner inside my room. thank you.

Hi, I faced some problems during building this project. My Bluetooth collar works on classic BT, not on BLE.and earpods and watches works on BLE so what could do for this because some of the devices can have classic BT and some of have BLE. or if I want to do with Classic BT is there any resources because I didn't find anything till now.... Bro this pop up notification cannot be implemented as Google itself has stopped support for the Eddy stone beacon and nearby share.. so it's difficult to implement this type.. it'll be helpful if you can implement this type of eddystone url broadcasting beacon..

There is an in App store BLE Scanner which has an option to broadcast as advertiser. Can I use this broadcaster as well to trigger the esp32 to do some action since it seems to broadcast as a BLE device.

Tried the code, it didn't work in 2 ways. First, the relay connected to GPIO2 is always on. Second biggest issue is that iPhone and other iOS devices do not broadcast the BLE Address publicly because of security reasons. So it can only work with the custom made BLE transmitter but not with iOS devices :( I hope there can be a solution for that in the code level maybe via UUID or some other constant and implementing this into the code.

no BLE and internet both are different And bro, this is the era where everyone is using bluetooth based smart watch, earphones, smart bands, etc. so there are major chances that bluetooth on the device is turned on

hi can anyone help me with the code. i have esp32 devkit v1 and a bluetooth tag (A)...... the code in this video turnoff led after 5 secs, dosent act like watchdog, it needs some changes in coding that am not aware of. what i want is - the esp32 should act as a watch dog , if it found this bluetooth tag (A) around it then turn on built in led , and keep the led on UNTILL the bluetooth singnal on the tag (A) are lost , as soon as the bluetooth tag (A) signal is lost , the led should turn OFF.

Hello Techiesms. I have an idea with this BLE beacon unlock. Can we use it to make a Motorbike automatic engine lock and automatic engine unlock? Once you move close to your bike, the engine gets activated and you only need to kick-start the bike, no ignition keys required. And as you stop and stop the engine with a hidden push button, moving away from the bike locks the engine from starting up even if you kickstart the bike a thousand times. Another idea is the BLE beacon, starting your bike engines automatically as you move close. Ideal for bikes with Kickstarter motors. Just jump on the already start bike and ride on. This is to prevent bike theft or hijacking. If the bike is stolen or hijacked, the engine goes off when it moves out of the range of the BLE that's in the bike owners pocket, so the hijacker won't be able to go away with the hijacked or stolen bike. What do you think?

Every shopping mall or brand has their own application which we can download on our phone and using that application we will be getting those pop ups when we pass by the same shop whose app we have For example if I have app of Croma, so whenever I pass by croma store I can get the pop up

@@techiesms That's true... But this restricts the use of this technology to big industries only. Those who can afford to develop apps and are popular. Small organization will not be able to do that. I was thinking if RFID can do this ? Tapping our tags and getting a notification ? But the question remains the same... How will the message come in the phone in any way.

This is just a concept you can say. For practical purposes, this lock is not even that strong anyone can easily break it as well

Your Code is wrong. You use a global variable device_found. So as soon as you have many devices, and your beacon Receiver finds your device It is Not Important which device is in rage (above rssi -50), so also another device will Open your Door... Test your Code!

@@techiesms Hi, sorry nur you didn't die that. Your device finds all beacons in the area - let us make an example - ist finds 3 devices. Your device is dar away (at Home) nur ist connected to beacon Receiver and has rssi value of -90. A foreign Device e.g. my beacon is near your Door. Because your beacon is connected, the global variable "device_found" is Set to true. In Main Loop you Check If any found device has rssi value more than -50 If device_found is true... Well and my beacon is Close and so the If condition is true. I would Open your Door even If your beacon has a Bad Connection to Receiver. So No Idea how you checked this...

Finally opened the door without airpods.. I can now afford Smart key chain 😁😁 superb 👌👌👌 Now I understand how they used the smart key for Renault Triber car. And Can we reduce the size of the key chain, Inside of esp32, is there any alternative Bluetooth emittors?
