Please keep in mind this is a Sony movie. Even though Sony just signed a deal with Disney Plus, Disney Plus won't get any NEW Sony movies until about a year and a half after they hit theaters due to the specifics of the deal.

I admit I haven’t been truly invested in this take on Eddie Brock, but I HAVE to watch this in theaters just for Woody Harrelson alone-he’s a great, genuine guy in person and I truly enjoyed working with him on set. I have a lot of respect for him and he looks good in the trailer!

The main problem I had with the first one was that all the best action scenes happened at night where you could barely tell what’s going on. This trailer has most of the action scenes happening at night again which concerns me.

when I first saw the 1st Venom movie in late 2020, it instantly turned me into a fan..... I was so hyped for this movie up until January. eventually I lost my hype for waiting for it for too long. Now they've finally released a trailer for it, now I'm ready.... I hope this would be much better than the first one (tho the first one was very Good, tbh)

The "Chocolat" thing , it's a reference to the comics in which it is explained that the symbiote is in fact looking for Phenylethylamine, a stimulating molecule present in the human brain. Important information, this molecule is also present in chocolate. So Venom doesn't have to eat your neighbors to survive!

I loved the first movie. I wasn't a fan of the trailer for it but it was tons of fun and I have re-watched it a couple of times. Tons of fun. Pretty well anything with Woody Harrelson is a must see for me, and he is perfect for Carnage. Can't wait. I hope things have cleared up by then because I didn't see the first Venom in theaters and I want to experience this one in the cinema.

I don't think they're deviating too much from the comics; as a matter of fact, I think they're sticking very close to the source material. A lot of ideas in this movie seems to have been inspired by the "Maximum Carnage saga".

@@tn420animations9 Depends on what story the writers want to create for Venom. I agree, but it's all on dependent if there's a story to be told for Eddie and the other symbiotes. For example: if a writer wanted to write a psychological thriller, where a character is mentally tortured by their inner thoughts, then Venom would be a character to shape that script around. At this point, however, the Venom character is just being used for adrenaline pumping action, which is fine by me.
