I really love you put that line in bottom and top of the pic to highlight which phone you are talking about as it makes easy to understand because I zoom a lil bit to watch the video and names of phones are not visible

Great comparison as always, writing from my Vivo X100 Pro ❤ I think the guys in Vivo have found the perfect balance in their photo algorhitm, they look sharp but not oversharpened, contrasty but not crushed, and so damn tridimensional. If the Pro is this good, imagine whats the Pro Plus (or Ultra) will do!

OnePlus performed way better than i was expecting!!! Infact it did amazing!!! Most of the times it tried to keep everything close to reality which unfortunately doesn't gives the most eye pleasing pictures.... I prefer close to reality pictures... Just my preference....

To me it was more like a vivo x100 vs Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. They just dominated. But thanks for the video, this is the best camera comparison I've ever watch 😫😫😫😫😫😫

Vivo. Mighty telephoto

Vivo x100 pro is definitely the best phone I have ever tested. Trust me I had over 300 phones

The Vivo X100 Pro is a great camera phone. The Zeiss collaboration has improved the image processing. OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra with Hasselblad branding, their camera hardware is impressive, but their software is a hit or miss. Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is great in both worlds, but with some flaws.

What happened with low light in those comparison? Arguably that is where the most differences are...

Oneplus 12 🎉

One plus really stepped up their game, specially of the back cameras. For the price of the One Plus 12 this is easily the choice I would make. You can easily make the photos 10 times better with Master mode as well.

Vivo take my money, if I can afford one.

Is the Vivo X100 Pro an upgrade to the Huawei P30 Pro in audio(speakers), images and videos or not? Or is the Honor Magic 6 Pro more recommended, like the Vivo X100 Pro?

I'd love to see you do a comparison of these phones with the gcam app installed it would be really interesting. Most of the time the reasons you give some photos lower scores are for things like over/under exposure, low/high contrast over/under saturation etc it would also be interesting to see which photos win after tweaks to correct these things in a picture editor. Don't buy an X100 pro just yet - the X100 ultra is a few months away . . . .

what is your selfie camera setting? is that portrait or normal photo mode? any extra settings (like beautification and stuff)?

A lot of bias in this and "in your liking" stuff here, not actual professional results. Having used 3 of these exclusively in all viewing settings, the Oneplus keeps shocking everyone at how much better the photos and videos in general are, especially at night after the last 2 updates. We are a big Samsung family and business for many years and the Oneplus 12 is still blowing us away at the abilities and the camera performance. It molly whops the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. Comparing it to the S24U in various shots, I was surprised that it virtually destroyed the S24U in the "majority" of shots. These aren't my personal "liking" here, they are professional facts as a business that deals with photography, motion video, graphic design for more than 40 years. I would still say, take that with a grain of salt and buy whatever makes you happy in the end. All the phones are exceptional overall tbh.

I honestly can't believe the bs she's saying at 2:57 when she says vivo is giving "not so nice yellow tone" in lights when it's giving the best HDR shot out of all. None of the other phones managed to capture the colour of the artificial light. What a waste of a review.

I got the Oneplus 12 and Oppo Find X7 ultra with the same colors. I don't know how you can get better photos on oneplus but in my experience oppo is the best. I also got S23 ultra and it's not even close especially in 3x portrait.

Have op 12 and it's fantastic and seeing this comparison make me realize that the camera is also excellent

I’m starting to think Samsungs main sensor is outdated compared to the others. It’s noisy and doesn’t resolve well in certain conditions.

I bought Vivo x100 pro about 2 weeks ago and wasn't upset for sure. Pretty much everything about that phone is great from design, OS and price to amazing Macro and Zoom. Stabilization is weak but I'd say it is rarely needed in real life.

The Vivo and Oppo are the ones. They are on another level, probably closer to a real professional camera. Other phones are good but limited to being a phone camera.

There are many hobby photographes who want a phone with a good camera system as a backup camera. I don't feel this test covers those people, but otherwise I love the testing concept used here. The rest is about what hobbyists consider, so if this is not you, there is no need to read further. I loved this video, by the way. To cover those hobbyists, of course you would need to know if you can shoot in RAW on these phones. I know this is possible on the Samsung, but I don't know about the others. I would not be surprised to find out this is possible. So then there would be the ease of transferring the photos to a laptop (as Lightroom is not available on Android) and then seeing what the base data is like from each phone from which to do the work to create a finished product. This is, after all, what is happening within the software of the camera app on each phone - so such things as the wrong white balance or colour temperatures are more accurately software problems and not hardware problems. There is a reason, therefore, why so many hobbyists choose the iPhone as it's easy to switch to shooting in RAW and then Airdropping the files to a MacBook for work in Lightroom and/or Photoshop. Or, have Lightroom on the phone. This app also acts as an alternative camera app with a good "pro" mode. The files from this are native Adobe RAW files and the iOS version of Lightroom is a joy to use. This is not an ad for the iPhone, as many Android manufacturers have woken up to this and so offer RAW and easy transfer modes (Samsung comes to mind immediately). You don't have Lightroom for Android, but there are alternatives. If you must have Lightroom (and this is the de facto standard for the majority of hobbyists) then easy transfer of files is a must - and some phones transfer files much easier than others.

One of the best reviews ever. Some of your choices boil down to personal preferences. I must say I really like the vivo shots as well. But in terms of build design, aesthetics, and overall performance, I'm going to stick with what I have. Who can guess?

I'm using the Vivo V29 5G alongside the iphone 15 and surprisingly, the portraits in getting from the vivo is way better than iphone. The zoom shots of the Vivo despite not having a telephoto, actually beats the iphone even in extreme zoom. If a premium midrange can confidently challenge a flagship, I wonder exactly what vivo's flagship can actually do. #vivov29 #vivox100pro #iphone15

zoom is naturally good in s24u , vivo zoom is artificially. Samsung take natural pics in protrait mode, vivo can not it

At first glance Samsung should be a winner here and Oppo should be second. > 13:27 - Again Samsung looks oversharpened, noisy, with skin rendition looking.. dirty? And.. it wins? OMG! > 14:49 - Clearly Oppo looking best here, but again - oversharpened and „recolored” Samsung wins... Overally sharpness and amount of details is quite crucial and we cannot see them in this comparison. I would love to see some crops too. No need for 1:1 but maybe 2-3 x closeup? Imho Samsung wins in terms of Video, and (what a paradox) completely looses in terms of Photography. Andf at the end we recieve results suggesting Vivo and Samsung being TWICE AS GOOD as Oppo, which is a bit worse than One+. What is a COMPLETE and irrational BS, as in reality Vivo and Oppo are both twice as good as Samsung, ale One+ is somewhere between Oppo and Samsung. And final note, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS in terms of mobile photography (well, photography at all) - the ability to freeze the movement. All we could see here were static shots. Now try to take a photo of moving object. A cat, a kid playing, your friend at a party or something. These are type of photos we usually take most often. Then you will understand why Samsung photo sytsem is useless, and why Oppo (and Vivo just after it) rocks. Believe me, I had S23 Ultra (no major differences with S24), had Xiaomi 13 Ultra and I own Oppo now.

Camera comparisons are entertaining, but phone makers adjust cameras in every update. Therefore, it would be beneficial to also include the software version when comparing cameras.
