I FOUND YOUR STOPPING DISTANCE! Hey Throtl! I’m in Highschool and I’m taking AP Physics and when you said you wish you could figure out the stopping distance from what I assume was 60mph, I thought I’d find it for you guys as a challenge for myself. I took my formulas and used a stopwatch to find the time it took for you to stop from what I assumed was 60mph. I set your ending velocity to 0, and found you were accelerating at -12.028m/s. Used my other kinematic formula to find the distance it took for you to reach 0m/s and got about 30 meters which is about 98ft. Which is incredible because the average car takes about 200-240ft to stop from 60mph! Hope you see this and could help you guys find out how insane those brakes are!

Wash the new old car, change the brakes, shocks, exhaust and add new wheels. Maybe bolt on some aero and go for a ride....rinse and repeat, if it ain't broken don't fix it I guess. Ricky and quinn need their own side channel. They could meet people at car meets with questionable suspension four things that can be fixed relatively quickly, and schedule a one-day day with them at the shop. Call the channel - save a hooptie

I'm no mechanic so maybe there's a technical reason, but it seems to me it makes efficient sense to do the suspension and then brake kit combo, while the wheels are off? Or do they do it this way for the videos (which is fine, the videos are awesome)?

How does someone go through an S55 engine and be on their 2nd one?

Downshifting makes the factory crankhub back out! It’s a mandatory thing to do for f8x/S55 and N55 engines! Any bmw owner or any S55/N55 owner can agree that the first mod to do on those engines is a pinned crankhub, my dads f80 dct its on his original engine and when I drive it I let the car downshift by its self on M2 mode just because I don’t want to back out the factory crankhub! It’s something throtl has to look into before actually giving this car away to someone who wins the car! One bad downshift the crankhub can come loose and back out! If u wondering how it backs out, S55/N55 engines are notoriously bad for having a bad vibration due to bmw not balancing the crank correctly from the factory and from having a 2 piece non pinned crank hub instead of pinned 1 piece/ non pinned crank hub! As someone who used to work on the f8x platform at a bmw shop in Kissimmee Florida we have gotten at least 4 to 5 F8x cars to do a 4 pinned crankhub! Some of them were stock and some were modded already with stock crankhub.
